Hello...Twin Cats with yet another One-Shot. This is kind of short, but this'll do until I can come up with a decent story.

It was a warm, sunny day in Smashville, the weather was getting hotter, folks began to walk in lighter clothes, and as for the Smashers, they were getting ready for the upcoming tournaments taking place in the Summer and in the Winter.

But today, three of them were fishing near the beach, they thought they had enough training for today and decided to relax for a bit.

At first, Scott (Villager) was worried Diddy and Toon Link wouldn't want to go. Fortunately for him, his friends lived on islands, so they've had a bit of experience when it came to fish.

"I caught one!" Diddy yelled, trying to pull the fish out of the water. The other boys watch as Diddy pulled out...a tiny fish. The monkey lowered his eyes, "Are you kidding me?"

"Well, it isn't all bad," Scott said, "Some people back in my town usually either sell fish or donate 'em to the museum."

"Pfft, like anyone would want a fish like that," Toon Link said, practically teasing Diddy.

"Hey, it's more than you'll ever catch," The monkey retorted, Toon Link scowled, but before he could fight back, something got caught on the Hylian's fishing line.

"Woah, this is heavy!" Toon Link remarked. He kept reeling the fish in until he saw that it wasn't a fish, at all...it was a boot.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Diddy began to laugh uncontrollably, he was on the ground, pounding his fist in the sand, the little monkey even looked like he was crying from laughter.

Toon Link grabbed Diddy's fish, "We're trading!"

"No we're not!" Diddy said as he picked himself up, taking his fish back from Toon Link.

"But I want that fish!"

"No way, get your own!"

"Gimme it!"

"No!"

Scott shook his head, his friends were fighting, again. If only he could have one day where they got along and acted like friends instead of acting like a couple canines fighting for territory...as far as canines go from outside of the Animal Village.

Soon, Scott's fishing line went down into the water, the Animal Crossing Boy began to reel it in, "Guys, I caught something!"

Diddy and Toon Link stopped with their bickering, they looked over at Scott, who looked like he was having trouble pulling the fish out.

A few seconds went by and Scott managed to pull out a shark. All three boys screamed as the huge sea creature came up from the water.

Afterwards, Scott held the shark in his hands. Diddy was so terrified, he fainted. Toon Link only started at the shark, his skin was pale. Likewise, Scott was also staring at the Shark with his hand, one question came into his mind.

"GAH! Why am I holding it?!"

It's pretty short, but I tried my best. So a bit of useless trivia, here.

* Yes, believe it or not, you can catch sharks in Animal Crossing games (in Wild World and New Leaf...I think you can catch sharks in City Folk, too, but I haven't really played City Folk...)

** The last sentence is what the villagers actually say in New Leaf (despite Scott/Villager being based off City Folk)

*** In the DKC cartoon, Diddy once mentioned he was afraid of sharks, which is why he kind of fainted (Yeah, I'll borrow a few things from cartoons as headcanon, but not everything...)
