Hidan's Lullaby
Take 1
Summary: There was many things Hidan loved about Kakuzu; his stitches, his eyes, his hair, and of course, his heart. Or should he say, hearts?
~?~?~?~
Kakuzu was silent as he sat at his desk, reading a book on financing. It was a quiet night for once as Hidan was asleep in their bed. They had just consummated their 10th anniversary and as usual, Hidan was sleeping the sex high off.
"Nn…" Kakuzu paused, listening. "N-no… please… Ka-kakuzu… don't want to… disappear!"
Kakuzu frowned, turning towards Hidan with varying emotions. Ever since Kakuzu dug up Hidan from that hole five years ago things were never the same. Almost every night Hidan had nightmares and when he didn't the darkness of the night would invoke horrible claustrophobia.
Kakuzu closed his book with a snap before silently standing up and walking over to their bed. By now Hidan was writhing in the sheets, gripping his hair. Kakuzu silently pulled the sheets away before lying down on his back.
Kakuzu ignored the pressure of his masks digging in his back as he pulled the sheets back. Pulling Hidan's hands away, he put the zealot's head on his chest. Slowly, Hidan's breath calmed, matching that of his hearts.
Kakuzu sighed, running his fingers through Hidan's hair and rubbing his back with the other.
Kakuzu kissed Hidan's forehead. "Night Hida," he muttered.
End.

I think I might rewrite this with Hidan's POV; maybe speaking of all the things Hidan loves about Kuzu. This just didn't turn out as fluffy as I hoped and it doesn't use the title in it; doesn't mention a lullaby.
