Ciel was idly relaxing in the manor study, since it was nearing Halloween and he didn't have any work. He sighed as he nibbled on a piece of cake.
Sebastian walked into the room, "Master, it's nearly dark. Do you wish to go to bed or stay up late tonight, since it's Halloween night."
"Stay awake." Ciel mumbled simply, smirking a little.
Mei-Rin ran in just then, "M-master! Sebastian! There's ghosts in here!"
"Quit being dumb," The Earl frowned, "Ghosts aren't real..."
She mumbled and walked out, knowing she seen a ghost with some odd thing on it's shoulder.
**A few hours later**
It was nearing midnight, and Ciel had walked around the mansion out of boredom. It was storming that night, so it gave it an eerie glow.
Bam. Bam.
The sound of what's known today as a bass guitar was heard faintly as he went into his room.
"The hell...?" Ciel mumbled, walking towards the noise. It seemed to be coming from the wall.
"We're not here to freak you out
We just came to shake it down
Uh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Ohh
Lift up your hands!
'Cause ghosts just wanna dance!"
The earl had a curious look on his face, climbing onto his bed and poking the wall that the noise was coming from. It rippled like water in a quiet lake, a glowing door appearing before him.
"Sebastian!" Ciel called, the butler appearing before him in seconds.
"Yes?" The demon said, spotting the door, "What's that...?"
"We're about to find out..." The bluenette mumbled as he slowly held out his hand to touch it. His hand seemed to go right through it, as he decided to just slide himself right inside.
The room was unlike anything Ciel had seen. There was ghosts everywhere! There was neon lights everywhere, and there was what seemed to be a penguin ghost standing at a DJ booth singing and DJing. There was three other penguin ghosts on a stage, one playing the guitar, one on drums, and one singing with the girl. There was a bunch of random penguin ghosts dancing to the music.
"Whoa..." Ciel stared in awe since he'd never seen anything like it. He had no idea what he was listening to, but he somewhat found it interesting. He liked it.
The female penguin ghost flew over to his and giggled, lifting him into the air and making him into a ghost with a flash.
"There's music seeping out of every room,
Follow noises down inside the gloom
Frozen still in sight
Nothing like the sight
of a penguin dancing on a tomb."
The captivating music kept playing as if it was stuck on replay mode.
"I'm Canadace!" The penguin shouted over the music, "Sorry if the music's a little loud for you!"
Ciel giggled a little, "Not at all! I've never even heard anything like this..."
"Really? Where I'm from this is the hit song!" She looked surprised at first.
"Well," He started, "I'm obviously not from where you are!"
She looked at him for a moment and smiled, "You're a human, so yeah obviously!"
One of the Penguin Band members waved at the two, and Canadace smiled and waved back.
"Who are they?" Ciel looked at her curiously.
She giggled, "The Penguin Band! They're awesome."
He nodded in agreement, and soon enough they were dancing to the catchy music they played. It was a rare thing for Ciel, but he'd never even had the chance to dance this way. It was more relaxed with no specific steps, he definitely prefered it.
After a while, he waved goodbye to the band.
"See you next Halloween!" Canadace smiled, "I had fun with you around!"
"See you!" Ciel said grinning happily. He walked through the door to see a worried Sebastian.
"Ciel where were you what happened?!" He said in a near shout.
The earl sighed and looked at himself, being human again sucked.
"I had one hell of a party..."
