Deadbeat

Albus was tired. His first week as a headmaster, and it was almost as stressful as when he defeated his love. Grindelwald never meant to be that dangerous. It was because he wasn't there to save him from his descent into madness...

The most annoying thing was his new Transfiguration Professor, Minerva McGonagall. She was always looking at him with admiration and something else, yet he did not understand why. Why would she?

They did not know each other. In fact, the only thing he knew about her was that she taught Transfiguration; well, he also knew that she was a Gryffindor, but that's because as headmaster you had to know everyone's house, blah blah. It was not his fault he was headmaster. He didn't particularly mean to be the best in the staff, but that was the way it was to be...

Minerva was tired. Her first week as Transfiguration Professor was almost as stressful as the fact that Albus Dumbledore continued to ignore her. Maybe she would sound like a schoolgirl when she said this, but she had a crush on the powerful wizard. He was rather adorable, but he did not notice her existence at all. She had hoped that when she got the job as Transfiguration Professor, he would notice her, as it was his old job, but it was to no avail. He continued to ignore her existence, and she continued to attempt to attract his attention.

There was no harm in trying, after all. One day, he would notice her, and they would have the best relationship of them all...

One day.
