I actually like the Sonic Boom series, particularly the TV series in general, so I've decided to write a little something based around a cute little episode for a cute little couple.
"Done!" A young fox cub proudly had exclaimed, finishing his latest innovation. He had been working all day, and he felt quite stressed out, so he had decided to leave his shop for a little while to visit some friends.
Well, one friend in particular.
Specifically, another young fox. She had been a close friend of his for a few months. He would've been lying if he had said he hadn't developed some feelings for her.
The only problem? He was too shy. And turning to his friends for advice was a big no-no, considering how they had reacted last time he had tried. Yup, this wasn't the first time he knew he had liked her.
"Hello Tails." She sweetly had spoken with a warm welcoming smile, showing her hospitality by letting him into her home.
"Hey Zooey, what's new?" He returned the friendly grin, with his cheeks glowing a tender pink.
"Not much, but quite coincidentally, I had cooked a meal, I might have enough for the both of us, that is if you'd like to join me?" She shyly questioned. Before he could answer, however, she had pulled the meal out of the oven, and set it on the counter to cool off.
"I don't want to bother you, I mean, if you're busy, and-"
"No worries Tails! Here." She had set down a plate full of the food in front of him, and gave him a gentle smile encouraging him to try it.
He had taken a bite, and he had enjoyed it. He once again had returned her beautiful smile, and had thanked her for her generosity.
"I'll be right back, I'm going to wash the dishes, you can stay and watch television, if you'd like." She picked up the empty plates and walked into the kitchen, her footsteps gently tapping against the checkered floor.
He blushed as he watched her disappear behind the kitchen door, and contemplated his thoughts once again.
If only he wasn't too shy.
