The cellphone buzzes on the brown dresser of a 16 year old male. He moans, reaching over to his photo to turn off the alarm. The turquoise skin Rilgarian yawns while stretching before tossing his blankets to follow his daily morning routine. Going to the restroom, washing his face, brushing his teeth and putting on his outfit of the day. It was going to be a average summer day for him until he glances at the calendar.
August 8 was the day he has planned for his friends to get together and have a guys day out. His eyes widen in realization of today's date. He runs over to his phone grabbing it but before he could swipe right on his phone a familiar voice called.
"Timmy, breakfast is ready." His mom called.
Timmy came rushing out of his room to the kitchen. Pancakes, eggs and bacon were sitting on the table. Timmy sat down and taking two pancakes, a egg and three pieces of bacon before proceeding onto texting his other friends letting them know about the Guys day out.
Meanwhile at Yuri's house, Yuri and Brian were playing the video game Qwarktasic. Brian was beating Yuri as always in the game and Yuri was not taking it well.
Yuri stands up and slams his controller in defeat once again. "Ugh Brian I'm tired of you beating me in this game. Yunno when I play against Marie she always loses."
Brian lets out a soft chuckle. "She is inexperienced in this game that's why."
Their conversation was met to an end when Yuri's phone beeped. Yuri raises an eyebrow in curiosity to who is texting him this morning.
"Oh my I thought he had forgot about this! I have been waiting for him to text me about this."
"What is it?" Brian leans over to get a better view of the text message.
"Oh it's Timmy he-" Yuri was interrupted by the Agorian scoff.
Brian never really liked Timmy. He seem like a jock with bad intentions. He always wanted to show off what he did not really have.
"Look I know he is dating your crush but that is no reason for you not to like him. He is a pretty cool and chill guy and besides you need to move on and put yourself back on the market."
Brian nods in agreement to Yuri. It was just hard for him to. Brian always thought that Pearl deserved a better guy than Timmy. She is intelligent, imaginative and energetic person but she was also an emotional mess and she needed to be treated with respect.
"So where are we hanging out at anyway?" Brian asked. That was going to determine if he was going to go hang out with him or not.
"We are going to go to that new hooverboard park, then go Holo- game stop, The arcade and the Battleplex."
"The Battleplex eh." Brian was into seeing other species fight it was in his nature. "I really want to see that Agorian tear that Fongoid to shreds. Our race did that before so in a Battleplex we will already know who will win that battle."
"You should bet bolts on Timmy, his lack of knowledge of Battleplex history would make him a easy target." Yuri suggested, making up his bed before they leave.
Brian nodded. "Good idea."
Yuri turns off the Holo-game and they both head out, flying over to Timmy's house.
