ACCIDENTALLY IN LOVE
Summary: Taking the next step in a relationship is never easy. There's a lot at stake. Two hearts.
CHAPTER 1: Worst birthday!
I woke up feeling grouchy. I always do in the morning. I'm not a morning person. Thankfully, no one was near me to see the state I was in. I was a mess.
My eyes were puffy and swollen and red, giving away that I had cried for a long time, which had been all night, sadly.
This is because the one person, whom I cared most about, who cares about me besides my family, forgot his best friend's birthday. Mine. Yes, it is my birthday today. I finally turn 16 today. Today is my sweet sixteen, supposedly. Well, I'd rather call it my Sad Sixteen.
It's his duty to wish me before anyone else! But, NO! He forgot. My best friend forgot my birthday.
He's gonna suffer for this. Punishment for forgetting my birthday: silent treatment. I'll ignore him all day lest he comes and apologizes or does something totally amazing that I forget his mistake.
You, surely, understand the state I'm in, right? What will you do if your best friend forgets your birthday? That's what I thought.
After I freshened up, my eyes still looked big and puffy ugh! , I went to the living room to find my parents, brother, sister sitting there discussing something. My little nephew was playing on the floor with one of the toy cars he owned. I sat next to him and I started playing along with him. My nephew is the cutest baby boy you could ever witness, seriously. He was angelic. He has just started talking; he calls me, "Aunt Belle". He's adorable.
We've only begun playing with his toy cars when my parents ushered me into the kitchen to present me with a beautiful set of oil paints. It was my happiest beautiful moment that morning. I loved to paint. I hugged them and thanked them for their wonderful gift. My brother presented me with a new iPod. It was sick! My sister and her husband gave me the new edition of the book they had worked for over a year. My sister is an intellectual person. I was sure I would love her book. My nephew gave me a crayon drawing of my face (big pink and red and black circles. It was cute) and a big kiss for his favorite 'Aunt Belle'. I told you he was adorable.
I was feeling happy by the time I made it out of the house after playing with my nephew for some time. It's time for school. It's time to face my dearest friend and bring my plan into action. He will be begging for my forgiveness by the end of the day.
