They stood in a circle and turned as one to meet the brilliant radiance of the full moon in all her glory. They stood naked before her, even the aloof Ezra having shed his very last garment. As Josiah lifted the ancient book and began to chant, all quieted, including Buck's lamenting of his lack of a snooze this powerful night. They held hands, their tails raised high and proud, and began to chant as one in their praise of the Mother Goddess. Then, one by one, each bowed his head and prayed, asking for the blessings that were needed.
