Dear Fred,
Life's been really rough since you..well, you know...left.
Anyway I thought I'd catch you up on what's been going on recently. Mum's been cooking an awful lot,especially when I visit, but I can't really shove the food down my throat like I did with you. Don't get me wrong; I still eat plenty. But not in the fun way of flinging food at each other, just eating. Not discussing prank plans with anyone. Not laughing hysterically and choking on my chicken. Nothing.
Lee helps me run the shop and business is great. Definately not the same without you, but its still going strong. We named a product after you. It's called Fred's Fit of Laughter. You pour it in someone's drink and they have uncontrolable laughter for 5-10 minutes. It sells great and that's not the best part. It fulfills your final wish. The one you told only to me. You wanted something that was named after you and you wanted people to know about it.
Ginny and Harry got married. They are both doing fine. They have three kids and are very happy together.
Ron and Hermione are married too. Guess I owe you three Sickles, huh? He didn't end up alone with 14 cats. They also have kids.
Unfortunately, the kids never got to meet their Uncle Fred. Don't worry, mate, we've told them all about you. About how funny you were. About how smart you were(only someone that smart could come up with pranks that are so bloody good). About how handsome you were(looking just like me!). About how much trouble you got into. About how charming you were. About how fun you were to be around. Everything.
You may not get this letter in person, but I hope you are here looking over my shoulder reading it. Because there is something very important in here. Something that we already knew, but we never really said it: I LOVE YOU. There is no other way to put it. You are my second half and every happy moment I ever had was with you. You were and still are my best mate. I miss you, Freddie.
