King Arthur's Court
Arthur(and the whole of Camelot)had just found out that Merlin was a sorcerer. His first emotion was anger. His first thought was to execute the traitor,the sorcerer...his friend.Arthur couldn't do that to Merlin. But how would he ever trust Merlin again?How he was going to speak to him again?Why had he lied to him?These were Arthur's thoughts for a week now.
Present Day
"Gwaine?",the King of Camelot asked as he entered the armoury.
"Yes,my Queen?",Gwaine said as he and the other knights stiffled a laughter.
"I will ignore that. Anyway,have you seen Merlin?"
"No"
"Percival?"
"Yes,he was heading to the court physician's chambers. He must be already there by now."
"Alright,thank you very much."
"Andrew?"
"Yes,sire?"
"Please,I want you to gather everyone in the throne room,I have an important announcement to make."
"Right away,my lord."
After 15 minutes...
King Arthur and Queen Guinevere were already sitting at their thrones. And everyone had a confused look on their faces;even the Queen didn't know the reason as to why her husband had gathered everyone before him.
Finally,the king started talking.
"Ladies and gentlemen of Camelot.I am sure you will want to know as to why I have gathered you before me. My Uncle,Lord Agravaine,has been of big use to me and helps also acts as my advisor,although he doesn't have to. But from this day forward,if his Highness forgives me,Lord Agravaine will help me only with wars and in some matters that will be of my choice whenever I want him to help me or not."
"But Sire...who is going to be your advisor?",Sir Leon managed to say.
Arthur smiled."Don't worry,Sir Leon,and I know who is going to be my advisor. Now if I may..."
"Of course,my lord.",Sir Leon said.
"5 years ago I met someone. Someone who changed my whole life forever. That someone,although it might surprise you,made me who I am today. Without this person's advice...I would not be here. And with that person I have passed the most difficult moments in my life. And that person stands alongside us...in this very room. So, Merlin ,I would be highly honoured if you were made my Royal Advisor and Court Sorcerer."
"Who? Me?",said Merlin
"Do you see another Merlin in here?"
Everyone stiffled a laughter.
"I haven't taken your answer yet."
"It would be my honour,my Lord."
And so Merlin was appointed as Royal Advisor and Court Sorcerer of Camelot and he helped and protected Arthur and Camelot for many years to come.
