Pack vs Prey vs Pretador

Summary: The hyena spirit is released from its cage while Xander is in Cardiff picking up a book for the new council.

Xander's thoughts
Xander paced the room in an agiated state. He wasn't sure how it happened but he had pretty good guess that Willow was somehow involved. Xander was trying to reign in the hyena spirit which had been released from the cage around ten mintues ago. It was taking everything in Xander to not go out hunting for pack members, prey and to kill predators to make the lands safe for the future pack. But he couldn't take it a second longer, couldn't resist the siren of the hunt, be it for pack, prey, or predator. It didn't help that these lands were considered unfamiliar and unsafe to the hyena. Xander had only been in Cardiff less than a day and hadn't much of a chance to explore. However, something in air here reminded Xander of the power of the hellmouth, but not really evil just powerful. And that was drawing him to it. So before anyone couldn't notice a change in his behavior Xander quietly snuck out of the house.
Please can we not kill people this time. I honsetly don't mind making a pack, if the person is willing, nor do I mind clearing the lands to make the safe for the pack. But I really would like to avoid drawing any of the slayers focus and if we kill humans they'll be all over us and stopping us. So, please can we make a deal to just kill demons?
#Calm down pup, I have gained my power and sanity back sense the first relase. I understand clearly the difference now between pack, prey and pretador. I understand that for some reason you've taken it on to protect a lot of the prey. That's fine with me, just so long as the pack is safe first and foremost, then we can agree. And what keeps the pack safe should keep the prey safe too. But let us start tonight by figuring out what the power calling us is, agreed?#
Yeah, I'd kinda like to know if a knew hellmouth is opening up too.
Xander walked for a few miles towards the power, each step the feelings getting stronger. But neither Xander nor the Hyena mother had ever felt anything like it before. It was defiently a strong power source but very different than either of the two hellmouths they'd felt. It didn't feel dimensional but neither was sure what was a power of. It seemed like it was semi-sealed but leaking whatever the power was. His walk lead him to a plaza, next to a milenium buliding, a fountain and tourist building. But somehow Xander figured with the odd location and rundown look that it wasn't a tourist building but a facade, just like the council used to use for thier london offices. Yet, Giles never mentioned any set-up in Cardiff when he sent Xander here to retrieve a book.
