Hey y'all :) Its been a while since I wrote for Gakuen Alice. This is a christmas fic, but its way late because college has been murder and I didn't have much time to write. This story might me a little OOC since Its been a while..

Like all Christmases, Natsume was alone in his room. Ruka was out with the class in their Christmas party. He wanted to stay with him, but Natsume wanted him to enjoy.
"Tch, I don't need Christmas parties." Natsume said to no one in particular
But he knew that wasn't true, he wanted to join in the fun, but he knew he would stick out like a sore thumb. He glanced at the beautifully wrapped present on his table. Whoever was the person that he had picked during the draw lot wouldn't get a present tonight. He sighed then just lied down the bed and waited for midnight.
Right at the last stroke a creak reverberated around the room but he didn't move from his spot, instead he sighed and asked "What are you doing here, polka dots?" He could see a few brown patches of her hair, illuminated by the moonlight.
"No one should be alone during Christmas." She said with a bright smile as she set down a red and white present on his bed
"I don't need the company" Natsume said coldly
Mikan's smile wavered slightly at Natsume's words "At least accept my present…" then she turned away and headed for the door
"Merry Christmas, Natsume" Mikan said with a sigh as she left the room and closed the door behind her.
Like all Christmases, she had come and pushed her away…
Like all Christmases, Natsume was left alone in his room, and Mikan was shedding silent tears at the other side of his door
Maybe someday it would be different…maybe..
