Note from Author: I don't think Bullworth is located in America, but either way this idea had been floating around in my head. So I went ahead and wrote it. I know it's a little late, but Happy Fourth of July! Please, R&R.

Contrary to popular belief, you are not one for large crowds. You don't like get-togethers, nor do you like concerts, you don't enjoy going out to bars with your "friends". But you still do sometimes, because you have to keep up an image, and it's all about image right? That's why you were planning on not going to the Fourth of July party the school was throwing. That's why instead, you were going to stay in your room, and grab your favorite book, and sit in your favorite recliner by the lamp, with your favorite flavor of tea sitting on the side table beside you, and read the next chapter in total peace and quiet. Because this time, it was optional. No one would care if you showed up or not, they just wanted to see stuff blow up. Image didn't matter this time.

However, that didn't happen. And here you are, leaning up against the bleachers with a bored expression and hidden behind baggy jeans and a simple black shirt. You knew if you wore your usual leather, Johnny wouldn't leave you alone. And why are you here? Oh, yes, you're a sucker for those adorable brown eyes. Those adorable, expressive, deep chocolate brown eyes that were currently enraptured by the…uh…pretty display of colors dancing around in the sky.

"Lola, you're staring again."

And you didn't exactly notice when they turned their gaze to you.

"Can you blame me?"

She gives you a playful shove before turning back to watch the show, and you attempt to, at least, half-heartily shift your attention to the loud noise and colors in the sky. But before you can…

"Lola?"

"Yes, Mandy?"

"Are you gonna kiss me or not?"

You do.
