A/N: This is just a short poem I wrote when I was feeling insapired. Don't ask where it came from. I'm just as surprised as you. Who knew I could be so dramatic?
In The Beginning There Was Darkness
In the beginning there was darkness,
A world too lost to hope.
Under the tyranny of a dark lord,
The wizarding world could hardly cope.
(pause)
Until one day, in a ray of light,
A prophecy was born,
Foretelling the birth of a hero
Whose destiny was torn.
(pause)
Born as the seventh month dies,
To a family who'd defied the dark lord thrice.
He would end Lord Voldemort's deadly reign,
Releasing the world from sorrow and pain.
He would be marked an equal in power,
Defeating a dark lord that very hour.
(pause)
But his tale does not end there,
Only delaying Slytherin's heir.
Who would rise again, stronger than before,
To reclaim his thrown of power and more.
And so our savior's journey begins,
Destined to fight the darkness and win.
(pause)
In the beginning there was darkness,
And it will fall again.
But our hero will be waiting,
To bring the darkness to an end.
Stupid document manager! It won't let me separate my stanzas!
Review if you agree with me. I'm a poet and I didn't know it.
