kirschreich (on livejournal) dared me... and I succumbed.
The Challenge: Sokka. A dress. Iroh. A suggestion.
Iroh keeps trying to find the perfect girl for Zuko. This time, he's missed the mark.
He would have had a better shot with Smellerbee ;)
Don't own Avatar.
-------
Whoosh, woosh, woosh.
Sokka whipped the fans around at an alarming speed.
Bending his body around like the Kyoshi Warriors had taught him to be agile enough to avoid all ariel attacks.
Iroh sipped his tea outside while his nephew paced.
Whoosh.
"You ought not to keep your mind on things of the past, Zuko. There are many sights and sounds to be enjoyed on this island. Including accepting the forgiveness they've offered for destroying the land."
Iroh knew what he was talking about, he lost his tea shop in Ba Sing Se, all to follow the Avatar and help him with his firebending, but was grateful of the Kyoshi hospitality when their last visit to this island had not been so pleasant.
"Perhaps the sight of a nice young lady will help calm your spirits" Iroh continued, smiling and nodding his head toward Sokka.
Being ten feet away, Sokka froze. Zuko looked him over, wondering if his uncle was right.
Sokka dropped his fans and went up to Zuko, poking him in the chest.
"Hey! Just because someone wears a dress doesn't automatically mean that they're a lady!"
Zuko could barely hide his grin. He grinned so wide until he almost toppled over laughing. Unusual for him.
A blush could be seen, from his laughter, from under the heavy white face-paint Sokka was wearing.
Iroh rubbed his eyes. "Hmmm. That's the second time that's happened. It seems it might be time for me to have my eyes looked at."
