The Corner of an Empty Sock Drawer
Albus Dumbledore stood quietly in front of his dresser. It was an important day as it was the first day of school. Dumbledore had already changed out of his night clothes, but he still hadn't put on his most important article of clothing; his socks.
Socks meant a lot to Albus Dumbledore, he always wore socks no matter what. Even when it was hot outside Dumbledore enjoyed the warmth of his thick wool socks.
He opened the top drawer excited about the various styles and colors of socks that were inside. Instead he gasped in surprised.
There were no socks!
This was the worst thing that could happen to him on an important day like this, but things were about to get much worse.
"Albus!" Dumbledore turned and looked around the room at the sound of his voice being called.
"Albus in the drawer!" Dumbledore looked down into the drawer and sure enough there was someone there. He pulled out the drawer as far as it would go and rubbed his eyes when he saw the person trapped.
"Arianna what are you-"
"Help me Albus I'm stuck." Before they could exchange any more conversation Dumbledore reached for the miniature version of his sister, but something wasn't quite right. For some reason no matter how hard he tried he could not pick his sister up. Arianna began to cry and Dumbledore's attempts became more desperate. After a few minutes Arianna went quiet and when Dumbledore removed his hands from the drawer he realized that she had stopped moving. He had lost her again right in his own room; he had lost her again.
As his heart began to beat faster the room began to darken, and eventually he woke up. At first he looked around the room confused and disoriented, but then it came to him.
"It was just a dream" he spoke aloud.
"No Albus" his mother's portrait on the wall said piercing the silent air, "that was a nightmare."
