Max's Pov
I could feel the tears stinging my cheeks, they were rolling down my face faster and faster now. I was standing on a cliff ledge with the rest of the flock. "Well, if that's how you feel, I never want to see you again!" I shouted into Fang's face. He flinched. I spun on my heel, unfurled my wings and took off into the chilly November night air. I felt many different emotions at once, I felt hurt, sad, angry, disappointed, and furasted all at the same time. My wings suddenley felt rock heavy, I glanced down, searching for a place to land. I didn't see any place that I could land, the only thing I saw was the dreaded, most horrible place that one of us bird-kids could ever see. Yep, you guessed it. The school. I started to circle downward towards the school, what was I doing?! I had know idea, it was as if I had no control over my wings. I plummeted down towards the school and when I could see the entrance to the school I tucked in my wings and landed on the ground. As soon as I touched the ground I ran into the school. I burst through the doors to find whitecoats bustling around. I ran inside and found Jeb standing there staring at me.
"My, my,well if it isn't Maximum Ride," sneered Jeb
"Make me forget," I pleaded. Wait! What was I saying?!
"Of course," said Jed. I sighed and followed Jeb into a room with a single bed and a medical machine. Jeb laid me on the bed and hooked me up to the machine. All of a sudden everything went black.
