"I cannot believe that I'm late!!" thought Lindsay Monroe, as she was rushing into her office.
"HEY there Montana, slow down, you are going to run someone over."
"Sorry Danny, I'd love to stay and chat but it so happens that I am already late."
Holy Crap! He is so cute and even as I walk by I can smell that amazing cologne he uses, LINDS get a hold of yourself, FOCUS…and NOT on Danny…
She makes her way into her shared office. She looks at her desk and sees one single red rose without a note attached; she picks it up, smells it and puts it in a vase with water. Well this will surely make my day better. Then her partner, for the case, walks in.
"Hey Stella, what do we have today?"
"Well this woman was found dead at a flower shop, so we have to go collect evidence and process the scene."
"Sounds good, let's go."
"Oh and before I forget, this is for you."
She then hands Lindsay another single red rose.
"Stell, where did you get this, it gorgeous?"
"I cannot reveal my sources."
"UG! You would be part of this!"
Through out the entire day, Lindsay received nine more single red roses. Finally at the end of the day, she was so bewildered at who sent them that she was about to attack the next person who gave her one. So, before she could get anymore, she wanted to get out of there, therefore she headed to the locker room to get her things. As she walks in she smells the scent of roses and as she gets through the doorway, she sees the room is covered in red rose petals.
OH MY GOSH, What is going on? As these thoughts are running through her head, Danny walks out from behind the lockers holding a single red rose. Lindsay's mouth drops open.
"Montana… I mean Linds…will you be my Valentine?"
"Oh Danny, this was so romantic and sweet, and OF COURSE I will!"
He drops the rose and quickly closes the distance between them. He cups her face in his hands and very deliberate and slow he kisses her. She melts into him, all but immediately. She deepens the kiss, and he smirks. As they are standing there kissing, they loose all sense of time and place until they hear a little snicker. They jump apart like a bunch of rabbits. They blush at the sight of their coworkers watching them final get together. At that moment, Flack, Hawkes and Mac turn to Stella and give her ten dollars each. Danny and Lindsay were the ones who were laughing now. They all said their goodbyes and left. Danny and Lindsay left hand in hand, and the last thought on both of their minds was Dreams Do Come True.
