The Coldest Heart
Chapter 1
"You have got to be Kidding me" the boy shouted slamming on his breaks. The truck quickly came to a stop inches before the road block.
"They have the whole Damn town blocked off"
Glancing at the dash he checked the clock. He kept his eyes locked, hoping to turn back time, he finally realized it was no use. If it were that easy to change time he wouldn't be stuck in this idiotic little town in this stupid century. Averting his eyes to his rear view mirror. he put the truck in reverse. He went five feet, before switching it back into drive. Foot Still on the break he turned the wheel to his far right, then slowly advanced forward. Once he was fully turned around he glanced down at the clock.
"late" he muttered slamming his head into the steering wheel. Taking A deep breathe he continued forward. Searching for an alternate route.
He ran in to 3 more road blocks before arriving at his destination. He walked in and immediately turned back around. The look on his boss's face just confirmed what he already knew... He was fired... . Getting back in his truck. He turned the mirror so that he could stare directly into his dark eyes. "congratulations Phil Diffy, you are officially the most pathetic person on the planet."

Phil arrived home just in time to catch the morning news. He fell into the couch, grabbing the remote off the side table on the way down. He heard his mother and sister arguing on whatever juvenile stunt Pim had pulled this time. Trying to mute his family's bickering he turned up the volume,
The whole town is in celebration over Ms. Teslow Blessing us by playing her song at the Back to School event, in town square later on today
The screen cut to black then zooming in on and older man with snow white hair
"ms. Teslow how does it feel to be back in town?" the man said flashing his sparkling teeth in the direction of the camera.
It's great i cant wait to sing for you all later tonight, and in the mean time i have a lot of friends that i know will be thrilled to see me. The blond haired girl said smiling widely at the camera.

"and thats where your wrong" Phil said angrily stomping off to his bedroom.
Two years ago keel and Phil and Keely had been best friends they had become inseparable. The last three months Keely had been there, they began to act weird around each other. Talking Less, Smiling more. Phil though everything was fine until one day he walked over to her house only to find she no longer lived there. Apparently she had been offered a part on Sitcom and started the first day of Spring Break. He was Crushed. How could she not tell him?
