Scribbles on paper
Chapter One.
Yeah so this is my first short story and I'd like to know what you think. I'm using the characters from Beyblade that I do not own. I use the Beyblade characters a lot because they're fun to work with! I like writing romantic stories like yaoi but I also do straight stories. This story is purely fan made and belongs to 0MomijiBunny0 so no stealing! Anyway I'm just gonna get on with this…
Max's POV
This is seriously boring. Right now I'm in English, staring out of the window with nothing better to do. The teacher is going through a stupid slideshow that she made to explain our exams. Like we need a crappy presentation to tell us what to do!
I can see Tyson asleep on his desk. He's drooling and it's not very attractive...
Huh? A ball of paper just landed on my desk. It's got my name on it. I opened it up to read:
'Hey Max it's Ray! I'm so bored! What are you doing after school?'
I looked over at Ray and he smiled. I smiled back and wrote:
'Nothing but I think Kai might want us to practise. Why?'
I scanned the class to see if anyone was looking at me. It was okay so I threw the paper ball to Ray and sat innocently at my desk.
I glanced at Tyson whose face was glued to his desk. I thought it might be fun to wake him up so I started to flick bits of rubber at him. Tyson then opened his eyes and looked straight at me. I gave him a stupid grin and he went back to sleep.
The paper ball then flew and hit me on the back of my head. Ray laughed quietly and I picked the crumpled piece of paper off the floor. Ray wrote:
'Well, if you weren't doing anything I wondered if you wanted to go into town to have some fun! We could get ice creams or something.'
I liked the thought of having ice creams so I wrote:
'Yeah sure sounds cool! Meet me at my locker when this boring lesson is over, I'll tell Tyson that we'll be in town. If he asks do you want him to come too?'
I folded the note over and over. Then I faked a yawning stretch to throw the note at Ray. He was just spacing out when the piece of paper hit him on the nose. I laughed really loudly and everyone looked at me. Thinking fast I said "Yeah! This exam will be easy!" I felt so stupid.
The teacher replied, "Yes, I'll expect excellent grades from you!"
I sank in my chair as everyone giggled at me. Something then hit my foot; I looked down at the paper ball that I had spent time folding and picked it up. Ray wrote:
'NO WAY! I want us to go by ourselves; I'll meet you after this lesson. You are such an idiot! This exam wont be easy but don't worry I'll help you revise…'
I felt a little nervous that he wanted it to be just us two but…I don't mind. I can't believe he called me an idiot! I'll get him back for it! I wrote:
'Okay! I'll get you back for that idiot comment! We could revise together, it'll be fun! Don't send this back to me…ending note Lol!'
I tossed the note over my shoulder to Ray and he caught it.
The teacher kept babbling on so I just gazed back out the window until the bell rang. I stood up and picked up my books and walked back to my locker.
I stuffed my books into my bag then closed my locker. I looked around but couldn't see Ray anywhere.
"Hey Maxy?" Tyson said waving at me.
"Hi Tyson, you seen Ray? We were supposed to go into town toget-…" I started but a hand landed on my shoulder. I turned around to see Ray.
"Sorry I kept you waiting! Want to get going?" Ray smiled.
I smiled back and nodded.
"Can't I come too?" Tyson whined.
"No, it's just me and Max." Answered Ray.
"No fair…I'll see you later…" Tyson sulked and walked off down the hallway.
"Let's go then!" I giggled and we both walked out of school and to town….
