So, I don't know why I did this. It just felt right. I might do something like this again, but I dunno.
Nevertheless, feel free to read and review this.
Disclaimer: I don't own RWBY. If it were otherwise, it would be Neo-centric
"I'm sorry, Jaune,"
Was what she would always say.
What was more, when he was gone
-Whatever the reason he had to be away-
Her heart couldn't help but start to long.
For with him, she would forever stay.
The Spartan and her knight,
Though different as night as day,
Were destined to be the light
In a world that had lost its way.
For together, they would burn bright
Enough to chase the dark away.
But why, oh why,
Could he not just see
That she, always by his side,
Would make a better companion to he
Than that snobby girl in white?
But no, the boy was blind as he could be.
She would have waited all her days for him,
But destiny, it seemed, had a different plan.
For the future was starting to dim,
And hope died in every woman and man.
So her mentor in green, placing his hope on a sin,
Turned the warrior into a mere pawn in his hand.
And that's how she died, doing what she was told,
Up on that tower so dark.
She was a hero, fearless and bold,
But the witch's arrow still found its mark.
And so they would forever be two halves of a whole,
Dear Nikos and her Arc.
And that's that. Just a little something between chapters, but I kinda liked it. Who knows, I may do another.
But until then, this is FoxHunt5, signing off!
