Chapter one.
'so working at a hotels not so bad.' Kagome thought as she squirted some all purpose bathroom into the toilet. Grabbing the brush from its spot in the white container she gave it a quick scrub and then grabbed one of the rags beside her on the counter. Wetting it from the faucet in the tub she wiped the outside of the bowl and seat. Grabbing a dry cloth she wiped the bottom of the tub to make sure that there was no leftover water marks and then wiped the bowl and seat dry sighing she straightened up and gathered the last of the cleaning supplies to bring it back to her cart. "All done the bathroom now where's that cleaner?" muttering to herself she looked around on the cart "AHA! Here it is!" she sprayed everything wiped it and then grabbed the vacuum and gave the carpets a quick one over. Turning around to leave she caught sight of a male with black hair and strange eyes. Tensing she focused her energy on the entity and deeming it un-harmful she relaxed. Smiling she greeted the man and asked him if he needed any assistance. Frowning when he just gave her a blank look she growled once again "Sir do you need any help?" Snapping out of his trance he shook his head and murmured, "No thanks I just think I'm in the room next to this one." Turning right he left towards his room. 'What a weirdo…' shaking off the strange vibes she got from him she started on her next room. "KAGOME! How many rooms you got?" Lisa asked, he long brown ponytail hanging straight down as he head was cocked to the side, almost leaning on the open door. Brown met Brown. "I'm on my last one. Go ahead, could you just grab the garbage bag from the cart though?" Nodding Lisa said "Yeah sure. See ya." Smiling Kagome answered, "Bye." Lisa's head disappeared from the doorway pretty fast. 'Almost done and then I can catch the bus' Glancing at the clock it read 3:30 PM 'Oh shit the bus comes in ten minutes and I have to walk for ten of them!' Running around and falling a few times she managed to get to the bus stop just in time. Once on the bus her thoughts drifted to that strange male. 'He wasn't human but he wasn't ghost so what the hell was he?' A rather large bump caused her to hit her head quite hard and dispelled such thoughts. Moaning a bit out of pain, she glanced around. The bus was as usual; empty just her and the driver. Blinking away the pain she saw her stop arriving from the front of the bus. Alerting the driver and saying good bye she got off and then began the trek to her house. Her thoughts were preoccupied with how many hours she got this week in and how much she could save for an emergency or college whatever one came first. Hopefully college was her outlook on that one. Since moving out on her own she had realized two things; money goes out faster then it could ever come in and if you don't save for any possibilities they'll never happen. Speeding her pace she sensed that same male around the area. Looking around suspiciously Kagome let her aura expand a bit as a warning. The male understood and noticeably backed off. Smiling inwardly she got to her door and opened it only to find the male inside, without waiting for any form of explanation she dove at him ready to kill. The male let out a strangled cry as he hit the floor and the wrestling ensued afterwards was very crazy and violent. Crashing into the coffee table and then into a chair Kagome didn't let up and even weakened him with cleansing energy, she was clearly gaining the upper hand that is until the second male came into the house and dragged her off of him.
