"Lilly, just choose

Shelf.

Disclaimer: I don't own Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers. If I did, Nick and Miley would be together in the show, instead of Jake, and Lily would either be with Joe or Smokin' Oken. Oh, and I would be a guest star! xDD Anyways, I hope you enjoy this sad oneshot that I wrote.

The sun just began to set in Malibu, and everyone at the beach had already departed, leaving for home. The only people left were three people; two boys and one girl; a blonde and two dark-shaggy haired males. The blonde girl stood in front of the two males, facing away from the ocean, and was about to burst into tears. She blinked the salty drops away and took a deep breath.

No pressure, Lilly. She thought to herself. Oh, what the hell? If I choose one of them, one heart's going to break.

"Lilly, just choose." Joe begged, his eyes filled with hope.

"It's either me, or him." Oliver followed up; he was starting to get desperate, unlike the other male next to him.

Lilly's eyes darted back and forth, from her best friend since forever, Oliver Michael Oken, to her famous rockstar best friend, Joseph Adam Jonas.

She loved both of them; it was too hard to choose.

Oliver Michael Oken; he was the one she knew her whole entire life. He was the boy she held hands with in kindergarten in order to use his 64 pack of crayons - with the sharpener! He was the one she skateboarded and surfed with. To confess, he drew a heart with their names on the sand after a day of hardcore surfing.

Joseph Adam Jonas; he was one-third of the Jonas Brothers. He was the international rockstar that everyone loved. He was the one that she met while she was dressed as a guy. He was the one that sang to her all their love songs, and the night before he sang Please Be Mine, a song he wrote just for her, as a confession.

I can do this. I can do this. She told herself. Crap, what the hell? I can't do this!

"I can't!" She shouted. "It's too hard!" The girl hugged herself tightly, and shook her head, causing her blonde hair to move from side to side.

"You have to choose…" Oliver whispered, regretting he said it right after. It put more pressure on her, and she certainly didn't need more.

"Yes, I know that, Oliver." She snapped. Lilly sighed. "I can't. Both of you are my best friends, and I love both of you." She began to cry, her tears falling down her cheeks.

"But, who do you love more?" Oliver pressured.

"Oliver!" The other boy hissed at him.

Who do I love more?

Hearing that made her cry more, causing Joe elbow Oliver before he walked over and took her in his arms.

"Joey, let go." She complained, "You're making this harder for me."

"Just listen to what I have to say, okay, Lills?" He whispered in her ear. She nodded and looked up at him. Wondering what he was going to say, Oliver began to watch him as well.

He let go of her petite body, and felt empty, but he shook the feeling away. He deeply exhaled. What he was about to say was hard for him; however, it was the truth. "I don't care who you choose, just choose the person you'll be most happy with. 'Cause if you're happy, then I'll be happy." Joe sadly smiled; he was starting to hurt inside. His heart was slowly starting to break.

"Just don't take my heart and put it on a shelf."

Is it okay? I thought it sucked. But, I wanted to do this really badly. So, tell me what you think! Tell me if you like, hate it, or if I should continue it as a short chapter story…that is, only if you really want me to. Please review(:
