There had to be some truth as to how two people tended to meet and fall in love.
It was not a quick process though when one really considered it though she'd had feelings for him since he'd helped her out that one time.
There was a quality to genuinely falling in love with someone and for the slow process on which the fall truly began.
Izumo could recall the moments when everyone freaked out over who Rin's biological father was and could easily remember choosing Rin over them; she'd always tried to be faithful to her friends, and she refused to just leave her crush hanging, looking so beaten up by the friends that had rejected him.
She'd stay by his side; she was not all that different from him after all.
Izumo had only found herself more infatuated with Rin the more they knew each other, the faster time flied.
She smiled at just the mere thought of him and that was enough to leave her heart in her rib cage beating away and a flush to her suddenly much more nervous face.
It was not an easy task in the least bit to confess, to admit to the feelings clogging up her throat, though it also wasn't one that she'd ignore; she prided herself on being honest after all.
Confessing to Rin was all together a new experience for her and just hearing the gradual 'yes' that he wanted to go out with her too made a world of a difference.
She still found herself smiling even a little bit from by his side, and there was a joy all its own for that.
Izumo though found her eyes on their fingers, the way they interlocked, and wondered if any would truly notice or care that two spawns of demons had found each other among all of the chaos.
She leaned closer, letting the lack of distance be their confidence, a newfound one that refused to fade.
It was enough for her and had to be enough for him too.
