Hi, everyone. This is a song for one of my favorite character's in Elfen Lied (one of the best animes' of all time, go check it out!), Mariko.
My friend wanted me to write a song or poem and show it to her, so really, this is for her sake. And yet, when I showed it to my friend,
he said it was beautiful and he loved it (of course, he said it was really sad, but no surprise there). I want to show this to you, and I hope
you guys enjoy it! This all came out of nowhere, when I was looking at a picture of Mariko. I'm definitely going to be writing more songs about
anything real soon, so check back often. (:
The point of view is from the first person, so an outside 'voice' will be doing the talking and expressing the feeling in this song.
