Also, for some weird reason the world hates me. And it won't let me make lines between characters prespectives. I'll try to fix that next time, but for now, l'll just write the character's name before the dialogue so it's understandable. Sorry about that.
It hurts. It hurts like hell.
The right side of his face was in immense pain right now.
he still remembered the cold feeling of the Kunai- The kunai he himself gifted Kawaki as a sign of their Friendship- Slicing him just above the eyebrow down towards his cheek, Cutting his right eye In the Process. He felt the pain explode inside of him and collapsed, suddenly unable to breathe.
He heard Sarada screaming, Mitsuki shouting, but worst of all, he heard Kawaki, his once close friend that he considered a brother, Saying "Next time, It won't be just your eye I take, though now that you can't use your Doujutsu anymore, It'll hardly be a challenge."
And then...Boruto felt himself begining to drown, and the last thing he heard was Sarada's voice, telling him to stay with her, Before he was completely enveloped in the Darkness.
Sarada was In panic.
this was not how it was supposed to go.
when she and the others heard that Kara took Kawaki from the Village, they Volunteered to help bring him back safe and sound.
She could see how hurt Boruto was, and was determined to help catch kawaki, before he crosses the border and disappear to god knows where.
They started off fine, catching up to the Kara Guys fairly quickly, but then they had to split up. Inojin, Shikadai and Cho-Cho All stayed behind and fought those two scary Kara Guys, while Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki went ahead to try and catch up to Kawaki, who used the minor-distraction to make his escape from the scene.
They caught up to him near the end of the forest, but they weren't ready as they thought they were.
Kawaki, together with another Kara Guy, Took them head on, Quickly gaining the upper hand by taking Mitsuki down before he could do anything and proving to be quite the challenge in battle terms, pushing Boruto and Sarada to the point of exhaustion.
That Kara Guy was fast, She'll give him that, Not as fast as her Sharingan though.
As she activated her Kekkei Genkai, She failed to notice Kawaki appearing in front of her with a kunai in his hand. "Don't you even think about it, you!" He yelled, and threw the kunai directly to her right eye.
It seemed Time has slowed down.
She closed her eyes knowing she's to slow to escape, preparing herself for the blow, though the one never did came.
She opened her eyes to see Boruto standing right in front of her, his hands spread to the sides, shielding her as the kunai that was meant for her pierced Boruto's Right Side of the face. He collapsed to the ground and then she saw it.
Blood. So much blood.
She fell to her Knees. Barely hearing Kawaki's Speech before he and the other Guy made their escape. She didn't hear Mitsuki shouting out Boruto's Name and trying to contact Konohamaru-Sensei. She didn't even noticed that she called out Boruto's Name repeatedly. All she could focus on was to stop the Bleeding.
The Blood was everywhere. It seemed like it was Glowing, Taunting her, Mocking her. "How can you dream of Becoming Hokage If you can't even help your own Teammate?" It seemed to be Asking her.
She felt a hand on her shoulder
"Sarada," Konohamaru-sensei said "You need to let Boruto go if you want us to arrive at Konoha in time to Save him."
He smiled a Reassuring smile at her, and gently removed her hands from Boruto's Face while examining the bandages that covered the right side of his face.
"You did good, Sarada" He told her before loading Boruto on his back and turning to Mitsuki "Make Sure she can keep up with us. She looks like she's in Shock" He said and proceeded to start heading back towards Konoha.
"We need to follow him, Sarada. Can you Run?" Mitsuki asked her and she Shook her Head, not trusting her shaking legs to manage to carry her all the way to the Village, who seemed so far away right now.
Mitsuki nodded, and without a word Crouched Down to help her get on his Back. She Gladly Did, needing the warmth of a person next to her right now. He Made sure she was comfortable, and moved out. Both of Them Worried about Boruto and their Friends, but Both too Exhausted to Speak.
They made their way back to the Village in Silence, not knowing what to say or if to say Something at all. As They emerged from the Woods near the Gate to the Village, the Sun had Begun to Set in the Distance, Filling the Sky in Many Shades of Red. As they Reached the Gate, they found Team 10 and Moegi-sensei Standing there, Waiting for them.
"Sarada!" Cho-Cho Called out to them.
"Finally," Said Shikadai "We were Getting Worried"
Moegi-sensei approached Konohamaru "How's he doing?" She asked, motioning towards Boruto.
"Not good. can you go to the Hospital and have them prepare for him? we still need to report to Lord Seventh" Konohamaru said, adjusting Boruto more comfortably on his back.
"we'll take care of the reporting Konohamaru-sensei, you and Moegi-sensei should go to the hospital and get Boruto Treated as soon as possible" said Shikadai, with a Worried look on his face "Sarada and Mitsuki Should go get checked too. and although it's a drag We'll go to tell Dad and Lord Seventh what happened and take care of the rest"
Konohamaru seemed relived "Very well then, let's go you two" He looked at his two students and nodded. They Nodded as well and they went towards the Hospital, Jumping over the Rooftops.
Shikadai Sighed "Welp, might as well just get it over with. No Use dwelling around here" and the Three Genin went towards the Hokage's Office, Dreading the task of Telling the Hokage his Son's been Injured.
Naruto Uzumaki Wanted to Believe he was a Calm and Collected Adult. But When Shikadai Nara walked into His Office with what seemed like bad news and Refused to Meet his Eyes, a Mini-Naruto Shadow Clones Started to Run Around in his Head, Screaming in Panic.
"How did the Mission go Shikadai?" Shikamaru Asked his Son, Worried.
Shikadai Seemed to be Taking a Deep Breath, before straightening his gaze towards Naruto "The Mission failed." he said "We lost Kawaki and Boruto's been injured badly. He's Currently at Konoha's Hospital"
Naruto was in Shock. Boruto's in the Hospital? he's been injured? His Mind Seemed to Process what he was told rather slow.
"What About the Others?" asked Shikamaru "Was anybody else hurt?"
"No" Shikadai answered "Sarada seemed to be bruised pretty badly though, and in Shock." He added as in an After-Thought.
Naruto stood up suddenly, pushing his chair backwards and grabbing his Cape. "I'm going to the Hospital. can one of you inform Hinata about what's going on?"
"Already took care of it." said the young nara "I sended Cho-Cho and Inojin to tell her." Naruto as he walked past the teen and Exited his Office.
He needed to get to Boruto, and Stat. He thought to Himself, as he began Running towards the all-too-all-too-familiar White Building of the Konoha's General Hospital.
