TANGLED SHEETS
As Arthur lay tangled in the sheets covered in dried semen mixed with dried sweat and tears from last night's activities, he could still feel his brothers' wandering hands, harsh nips and bruising grips, the members that had filled both his mouth and rear.
He didn't understand.
They had always told him that they hated him and he had always believed them. The rocks and arrows that they threw at him, the scathing insults and hurting jabs, and the deceptions and betrayals were proof enough that they told the truth.
Yet whenever they came knocking on his door after a night of lavish drinking, sweeping him away in their lust and cravings for sexual pleasure, they would have this loving look in their eyes when they lay him on the bed, caress his body with such care as if made of porcelain, and pepper him with soft and gentle kisses.
He didn't understand.
He couldn't comprehend the meaning of his brothers' actions, but he never complained. Because it was only during those nights that he felt cared for, treasured, and appreciated.
Only during those nights did he feel needed and loved.
He was probably no more than a whore in their eyes during those restless nights, and yet he couldn't get enough, couldn't refuse, couldn't say no to the only chance he'd ever get to feel important.
He didn't understand.
But until he could, he'd let them do with him as they please.
