Chapter 1~
I look up scared, and shrivel back. My house was on fire. I cry out, and jump out to the burning house. A hand on my shoulder, and I stop. I spin around and see a man with white hair, and I sigh. "Mister Priest?" I ask, making sure that he is a priest.
"Yes daughter of god?" He asks, as a wind blows.
"Why have you stopped me from entering my home?" I ask, my eyes showing my hope that he may help me.
"Shush, now let's get you to a church and prey for you." I take his out stretched hand.
Ten years later.
I'm now sixteen and still with the man that has saved my life ten years ago. "Abel?" I ask, as that is his name. I only call him Abel and not father or something like that, because I am a special person, I don't have to.
"Yes?" He says turning to me.
"I'm beginning to wonder if Tres is your babysitter." I say, motioning to Tres.
"I have nothing to say." He says, turning away.
I run up and hug him. "Hm. He seems more love able than a robot, don't you think Abel?"
"I agree!" He shouts.
I put my fingers up to my ears. "No need to shout." I say, than turn around. "So why can't I leave Rome with you two?" I ask, completely down.
"Because it's too dangerous." States Abel.
"Yes, and I guess me talking to you is too dangerous too, hmm?" I ask, turning around so that Able can't see me. I fold my arms up on my chest. "So I guess I just won't talk to you." I spin to look only at Tres. "So Tres… hows your day?" I ask, shrugging my shoulders, showing I have no idea what I was going to say in the first place.
"Um…" He says, not sure what to say. That's what I thought might happen if he is a robot, as he is.
"That's expected… I guess." I say, laughing.
"I guess you can come." Sighs Abel.
I run and hug him; ok it's more like I glommed him… but still. He falls on his butt, and I land on his lap. "Oh thank you, thank you, and thank you." I repeat that a million times.
"As expected from a daughter of god." He laughs.
I stop, and I have that scary calm. Tres backs away, frightened even. "What did you say?" I ask, not looking him in the eyes.
"Why? I called you a daughter of god." Abel repeats, I still have that scary calmness about me.
"That's not something to call me…" I go off, letting him become scared. "Do you understand?" I ask my face only mere inches from his.
"Y-yes." He stutters.
I brighten up, my face glowing with a grin. "Good." I say, skipping away.
One hour and a half later
"Oh… my… goodness." I breathe. "This town is beautiful!" I say spinning around.
I hear a chuckling. I spin around and see a man with black hair and a lady. I shush and remember my lines. "Mister, Miss?" I ask, turning to them. "I am in need of a home, and some food. Do you, perhaps, know where I could get this?"
"Aw, aren't you cute?" Says the man. He pinches my cheek.
I shove his hand away, disgusted. "I'm the same age as you." I say.
"Oh, I guess." Says the man.
"If it helps my name is Roseline Gyula." I say, as that is really my name. Abel and Tres do not know that though.
They cower in fear. "Y-your related to G-Gyula?" Asks the lady.
I look up at them with a frown. "I do not know of this person of which you speak." I say. "Who is he?"
"It's nobody." Sighs the lady. "My name is Esther."
Esther nudges the man in the gut, telling him to say his name. He coughs. "My name is Dietrich."
"Really?" I ask, my eyes shining. "In my country that means that your special, as only the gods can name you, for you are their child." I say, my eyes sparkling.
