Jace and Ducks

Summary: Jace really hates ducks.

Jace's POV
It was a beautiful night in Central Park. Clary, Alec, Magnus, Iz, and I were just hanging out, and to our surprise; no one was in the park. Why? Well it's night time of course. We were about to leave the park, when all of a sudden I saw...a duck. So I screamed like a girl and ran behind Alec.
"Why?" Alec asked.
"There's a duck." I said.
"Really Jace, really." Clary said.
"Yes." I said.
"Unbelievable." Iz said.
"Oh shut up." I said.
"Jace it's just one duck." Magnus said.
"No there's more than just one duck."
"Jace why are you even afraid of ducks?" Clary asked me.
"When I was little I was playing around with a duck, when all of a sudden it bit me, well more like tried to bite me. Ever since then I've hated ducks."
"How old were you?" Alec asked.
"I was six at the time."
"That explains it." Iz said.
"Jace these ducks are nice." Clary said as she walked up to one.
"Don't get too close or they'll bite you." I said.
"They won't...OUCH! Stupid duck." Clary said as she held her hand.
"Told you." I said.
"Shut up. Damn those ducks bite hard." Clary said as she pulled her hand away from her other hand.
"Can I kill them?" I asked.
"No you can't kill the ducks, unless they are demon ducks, then yeah you could kill them." Magnus said.
"They're demon ducks." I said.
"Jace there is no such thing as demon ducks." Clary said.
"Well I want to kill them by setting them on fire." I said.
"Why would you want to set the ducks on fire?" Alec asked.
"So I don't have to look at them." I said.
"Jace eventually you're going to have to overcome your fear of ducks." Magnus said.
"Yeah, Magnus that may never happen." I said.
"By the Angel." Izzy said.
"Jace maybe if you leave the ducks alone, they won't come after you." Alec said.
"You don't know that." I said.
"Here's a solution. Lets all go home." Izzy said.
"Fine." I said.
After we got back to the institute, we all went to bed. When everybody was asleep, I got out of bed and and I changed back into my hunting clothes. I then left and went to go search for the ducks, so I can kill them. I got to the park and there they were. The ducks. I grabe my blade out, and just as I was about to kill the ducks, I heard a voice from behind me.
"What do you think you're doing Jace?"
I turned around and I saw Alec standing behind me.
"Not about to kill duck, that's not what I'm doing." I said as I played innocent.
"Uh huh, yeah." Alec smilied. "I don't believe you. Let's go back to the institute."
I hesitated.
"Jace let's go."
I sighed. "Fine."
We get back to the institute, and to my surprise everybody else was still asleep.
"Jace you're lucky that I am up. I had a feeling you were going to go back, so I followed you."
"Sorry it's just I can't stand looking at ducks. They give me creeps."
"Well don't set them on fire, or kill them in anyway you can think of."
"Do you always have to ruin my fun Alec?"
"Yes, yes I do. Now go back to bed."
"Fine, oh are you going to tell them what I almost did?"
"Only if you don't go back to bed, and if you promise me that you won't try to kill the ducks again."
"Fine I promise that I won't try to kill the ducks again."
"Thank you. Now go to bed."
"Alright, night."
"Night."
Alec never told anyone what had happened that night, and I never tried to kill a duck again. Well I actually killed one duck, and I got caught and now I am in confinement till further notice. Just joking they just yelled at me, but I was eventually forgiven.
