Background
Troy and Gabi have been going out ever since the call-backs.
Sharpay is very jealous not only did Gabi steal Troy and the show but she also stole Ryan. Gabi and Ryan had become best mates; Ryan had even become a brainiac.
Everyone is getting ready for the annual ball.
Troy's house
Gabi and Troy have already got dressed and are about to leave when Troy produces a flower to wear on her wrist.
Troy: Gabi, wait!
Gabi: What is it Troy?
Troy: I got you something
Gabi: Oh Troy you didn't have to do that
He produces the flower from behind his back
Gabi: Wow, it's beautiful!
Troy places it on her wrist and kisses her on the cheek
Troy: So are you!
They leave the house arm in arm with smiles on their faces.
Evan's house
Ryan and Sharpay are dressed and are arguing in the kitchen.
Sharpay: I can't believe you're going to the ball with Taylor!
Ryan: Why is that so hard to believe, we're mates now what did you expect?
Sharpay: You're supposed to take me!
Ryan: You said you already had a date.
Sharpay: Well I did, until I remembered he's was going with your "friend" (Does the whole air quotations thing)
Ryan: Oh Shar you did all you could, they obviously really love each other.
Sharpay: Yeah obviously but I think its time they met the Evan's revenge book.
Ryan: Sharpay, No, they are my friends. You have to learn you can't mess with fate.
Sharpay: (Under her breath) and you have to learn you don't mess with Sharpay Evans.
Ryan leaves the house but before Sharpay leaves she takes a trip to the revenge book.
The ball
Troy and Gabi are already at the ball when Sharpay and Ryan arrive; Ryan walks over to them and leaves Sharpay on her own.
Ryan: Hey guys, (he plants a kiss on Gabi's cheek) have you seen Taylor?
Gabi: Yeah, she's over there talking to Martha.
Ryan: Thanks.
He rushes over to Taylor and immediately kisses her on the lips.
Troy: Is that Sharpay?
Gabi: Looks like it but she doesn't have a date.
Troy: Let's go and see.
Gabi: Ok
They walk over and surely enough it is Sharpay.
Troy: No date Sharpay?
Sharpay: I'm here with Zeke he's just gone to get me a drink.
Gabi: Err Sharpay, Zeke's on holiday and the drinks are right behind you.
Sharpay: Well my real date has decided to go with someone else and that someone will pay. Go have a dance; I'll bring you over some drinks.
Troy: Thanks.
Troy and Gabi walk off and start dancing, Sharpay pours Gabi a drink and takes something out of her pocket and puts it in the drink. Ryan has been watching.
Ryan: Is that drink for Gabi?
Sharpay: Yeah, it is, could you give it to her for me.
Sharpay turns round to pour Troy's drink and as she does so Ryan swaps the drinks over.
Ryan: Here Gabi, Sharpay told me to give you this; she'll have yours in a minute Troy.
Troy and Gabi: Thanks.
Sharpay is watching as Gabi sips at her drink.
Sharpay: (To herself) Why isn't it working, she should be dead by now.
Sharpay takes a sip of her drink and instantly falls to the floor. Troy rushes over to help her. He is kneeling on the floor with her in his arms.
Troy: Sharpay wake up!
Sharpay: (Weakly) I love you Troy!
She then falls back and closes her eyes.
Gabi: (Starts crying and Ryan puts his arm around her.) How come you're not sad Ry?
Ryan: She deserved it, that drink was meant for you, so I swapped them over when she wasn't looking.
Gabi: Thanks Ry, you're the bestest friend ever!
Troy: Yeah Ryan you saved her life your wonderful, I don't know what I'd do without Gabi! I owe you one mate!
They carry on dancing and leave Sharpay to rot in hell!
