Castiel was bored.
He'd been spending more time in heaven that with the Winchesters lately.
He decided to call Dean, who answered distraught.
"Cas? Is that you?" the man's voice was shaky.
"Yes Dean, It's me. Are you alright?"
The angel questioned.
"No. I'm not. Bobby just signed his soul over to Crowley. This family is so alike." Dean's tears started again.
"I'll be right there." Castiel murmured and transported himself to Dean's room in Bobby's house.
There was no guarantee that Dean would be there, but thankfully Castiel's guess had been right.
"Cas!" Dean launched himself at the angel.
"It's alright Dean. I'm here." Castiel whispered, stroking Dean's head lightly.
"Tell me that we're going to be fine. And that we can get Bobby's soul back. Just say it Castiel, and it'll come true. I know it will. Cause it's coming from the lips of an angel. That has to count for something right?" he pleaded, looking up at the angel.
Castiel sighed and nodded. "We'll get Bobby help. And we'll fix everything. Don't worry Dean. You won't be losing any one else if I have anything to say about."
Dean nodded and buried his head in Castiel's chest again.
They spent the night like that, and when Dean woke up Sam was in the doorway, staring at them awkwardly.
Castiel was staring back unblinkingly, "We are not the droids you're looking for." and raised his hand towards Sam who backed away unsteadily.
Dean looked up at Castiel and smiled because even though everything was crazy, all was right in the world.
