At Shiz University, the Maths Class is taking an end of year exam. Elphaba feels that she is doing great and that she is going to ace the exam as she always does. She just finishes the last question as the teacher rings the bell to end the exam.
'Time is up, please put your pens down and place your exam on my desk.'
Elphaba gets up and puts her test on the front desk and flounces out of the classroom along with Galinda walking besides her.
'So how do you think you went Glin?' asked Elphaba?
'I think I did well enough to pass '
'I'm so going to ace that test ' Elphaba says
At the end of the day when everyone has completed their exams and goes back to their dorms Galinda and Elphaba have dinner and get ready for bed.
Elphaba dreaming:
In maths class, the teacher is handing back everybody's test with their grade on it. When he gives Elphaba her test back she is full is happiness knowing that she has an A+ but that is before she looks at the paper to see a Red D she screams
'What, I shouldn't have a D, I should have an A+, I always ace tests'
Elphaba wakes up screaming
'Elphie what is it, what's wrong' asked a very worried Galinda
'I...I...I dreamed I got a D on the maths test we took today but I don't need to worry it was only a dream.'
Galinda and Elphaba go back to sleep and wake up in the morning. On way to maths class everyone is seated and the teacher begins the class.
'I have graded your exams, some of you passed with flying colours and others need to seriously hire a tutor to help them.
Teacher gives back exam to Elphaba who grabs her test and quickly scans the paper for her grade only to find that she got a D which she screams at
'Elphie, what's the matter, did you have a nightmare?' asked Galinda
'What, did I fall asleep in class?'
'Yes you did, now do you want to look at the grade you got, the teacher just handed back the exam'
Elphaba finds her graded exam to find a big red A+ at the top
Elphaba sighs in relief 'That was some nightmare'
