She knew she was dreaming. It was a good dream though. And she wasn't ready to wake up.

Chi Chi felt the bed descend as he climbed in next to her. He slowly crawled up the extent of her body and started whispering as he did. Though she couldn't make out the words ebbing off his lips, she found an intimate sort of comfort in his voice. She laid still and let him spread out over her body, with his snug and heated form gently pressing her down into the soft mattress.

He lingered over her; soft strands of his usual slightly disheveled hair brushed over her cheeks. His fingertips glossed over her lips, his hand cupped her cheek. His head lowered and he embraced her shoulder with slow kisses that languidly reached her neck. He placed a final one tenderly on her lips.

The sun had now risen and light permeated the room through the battered curtains, bathing his familiar figure in a soft yellow glow.

Her hands trembled with the need to touch, but she knew very well that if she moved, he would vanish. Instead, she resisted her yearning with all her effort, and let him caress her.

"I miss you, Goku," she managed to breath out.

"Shhhh," he soothed her, his warm breath against her cheek. "I'm here now."

The longing to feel him under her hands was too much to endure. She lifted a hand to run her fingers through his hair. Her fingertips had barely brushed through his unruly locks. And just like every other time she had dreamed this dream, he vanished. Chi Chi awoke alone in the dark, with the memory of another haunting apparition of her dead husband.
