The Break Up BY: mostlyfriends
Chapter one:
As she stood there in the middle of the apartment in disbelief, she wonders if it's really true. If after all the years, did Ross really cheat on her. "He fought so long to have me, he finally gets me and he cheats on me with the girl from the copying store"
Just then Phoebe sprints into the apartment with a big problem! "RACHEL, RACHEL..." she screamed "what, what's the matter Phebs?" "I have a big problem" she yelled. "I can't lick my elbow". Rachel thinks to herself, "I have bigger problems then elbow licking! Ross just cheated on me." After a couple seconds of complete silence they get interrupted by another person. This time it was someone Rachel didn't want to see —someone who just threw her heart out on the ground and crumbled it into several tiny pieces— Phoebe could tell they didn't good by the way the stood there looking at each other.
"Okay I'm going to go now, and bother someone else about whatever I asked you... bye". Just then Joey and Chandler walk in bring in Phoebe as well. "Come sit down quickly, my shows about to go on". Chandler notices something is wrong and makes a comment, "come on, let's she if Monica's in her room so we can watch it in her room". As the door closed, Ross quickly tries to talk to Rachel about what had happened.
"It's not my fault. We were on a break. I wouldn't have known how long that was going to last, to me a break is a break up. I didn't no what to do I was sad lonely and tired." "That's not important, you cheated on me. After how long it took you to get me, and after just 5 short months you cheat on me." She screamed.
"It'd you wouldn't just have took a short fifthteen minute break to be with your boyfriend that you haven't seen in almost a week." Ross argues back.
Just one room over, the others are listening to them fighting. "Do you think they're going to be okay" Monica commented. "It's Ross and Rachel, of course it is, they're work it out".
Almost and hour had past and they haven't spoken a word. Sitting there looking into eachothers tearful eyes. Rachel reaches over and turns ont he radio sitting in the table. U2's song "with or without you" playes in the background to break the silence.
