Two figures stood silently in the now empty Principal's Office, one tall and lanky with messy black hair and the otherin a pristine business suit.
"I don't want to do this," the dark haired one admitted quietly, scuffing his black converse against the floor, his head bent and his hair covering his eyes.
"You don't have a choice, Percy. This is the only way that-"
"I know, Prometheus," Percy sighed, looking up, his sea-green eyes meeting Prometheus' bright blue. "It still doesn't mean I have to like it though."
"It'll be fine, Percy. After all, it's just high school," Prometheus laughed, clapping Percy on the shoulder.
"Yeah, I guess," Percy muttered, biting his lip before grabbing his backpack off the floor and walking out the door.
"Alright, time's up! Pens down, pass your essays forward and-"
Thalia sighed, tuning Apollo out and placing her pen down with a clack as she passed her paper forward. She had finished fifteen minutes before but wanted to make sure it was perfect.
"Uh, sorry…my schedule says I'm supposed to be in this class? I'm a new transfer student."
"Hm, oh yes!" the teacher said from the front of the room, walking to his desk while some students quickly tried to put the finishing touches on their papers. "My names Apollo, welcome to English Literature. And you must be…Percy!"
Percy perked up, finally looking up and meeting Apollo's eyes. He smirked slightly, nodding his head, ignoring the whispers that broke out when his peers saw his face.
"Wonderful to have you here, Percy," Apollo said earnestly. "Here, why don't you sit down next to…Thalia!"
Thalia glanced up, her lightning blue eyes glancing at him briefly before she looked down again. Then, she gasped, looking up at him just as he sat down.
No fucking way. Percy Jackson, frontman of Riptide, was at Goode.
Hey everyone! As you can probably tell, I'm rewriting Broken. This is just the prologue, and there is more to come soon! (: ~HopelessDove
