A Valentine's Day Surprise
An Angel, soft and pure, is leaning on her balcony rail. She looks on into the Coruscant twilight, the dying sun gleaming on the silver buildings. Air speeders zoom off into the distance, unaware of the sadness in her heart. They are mostly men, coming home to their loves on this night that was made for them.
She sheds a tear. She knows her love is not coming home for this day made for lovers. He's saving lives on another planet, wishing he could come home to her. She sighs, softly, and begins to hum Their song, Across the Stars. They played it for their wedding. It always comforts her when her Jedi is not there.
She is unaware of a young man standing in her doorway. He smiles softly and his hand slightly behind his back. There he hides a single Red Rose, with a tag that says simply…Angel. He clears his throat and the Beauty jumps, startled. She realizes it is her lover and runs to him, crying, "Ani!" She leaps into his waiting arms and kisses him passionately. He presses back with equal fervor. Their lips finally part and they whisper/gasp their love for each other. He sets her gently down and says, "Close your eyes," in a soft, husky tenor tone. She willingly complies. He shuts the door and holds out the rose.
"Open your eyes," he commands softly.
She gasps in awe and takes the flower. She kisses him and leads him to the bedroom.
