Sometimes it's better, not to cry at all. That way, no one will know how you feel, and it'll be funnier when you destroy they're stupid faces, they won't even see it coming.'
It was a stressful day, that Tuesday afternoon when Ludwig got home after a long day of work, the envelope in his hands seemed to weigh his arm down as he turned the key to his door.
Mostly because he knew, that what he held in his hands at that very moment, was something no one else could see- or know about.
As he stepped into his house, earlier events from that same day flooding into his mind.
'But remember Ludwig, it could all be a horrible coincidence, so don't worry. We'll get to bottom of this either way. Be sure not let anyone know about this.' assured his boss, a wrinkled smile appearing onto his worn out face, Ludwig wasn't very convinced but nevertheless nodded.
'Of course sir. Don't worry, these papers are safe with me.'
With that, he left to his small office where he talked with Arthur Kirkland, his bright green eyes alert and worried as he looked over at the blonde man.
'Do not worry, Arthur. We'll find Peter, I'm sure he just ran off and got lost, but he's a smart kid. I doubt anything will happen.' Ludwig nodded in his thick German accent. Arthur frowned while nodding, rubbing the back of his head as he stared at the ground.
'Yea, he's a smart kid. I really hope⦠Nothing horrible happens." he murmured. His bright orbs flooded with worry and stress, thinking of the most horrible possibilities.
Ludwig cleared his throat when he stepped into the living room, more then glad when he was able to toss the envelope on to the living room table. He sighed deeply as he made his way to the kitchen, not realizing that the house was quiet.
Too quiet, considering he shared his house with his older brother.
As he made himself to the kitchen, Gilbert peered down from on top of the staircase, eyeing the bright orange envelope and a small grin appearing onto his pale face, and a mischievous glint in his red orbs.
"Kesese~! Let's see what lil' bruder is hiding in that envelope!"
The last person who should know what's inside, would be the first to know.
