A/N: Well this is just a cute one-shot I rewrote it and I hope this is at least a little better. Spot's name in Sean in this story and Mercy is Abbie. Spot and Abbie are only three so Spot is different then how he is in the movie. It's set in modern day.

Disclaimer: I don't own Spot. But I do own everyone else.

Dancing -4 years old

Two pairs of eyes watched from around the corner. Those eyes belonged to Sean Conlon and Abigail Lorenzo. Maria and Ramiro Lorenzo and Neman and Sarah Conlon danced in the living room of the Conlon house unaware of their children watching them.

The music was slow and sweet. Sean and Abbie didn't know what their parents were doing this for but in their eyes it looked like fun.

Abbie smiled as her father spun her mother, the light blue dress swaying gracefully with her. To Abbie they looked like the dancers she would watch on television with her mother. The way they moved was like magic.

Sean watched his father smile at his mother. It astonished him, the look that even his four year old mind could pick up in his father's eyes. The look was equally matched by the one in Sarah Conlon's eyes.

Sean stood up and pulled Abbie up with him. "What are you doing Sean?" Abbie whispered, not understanding what her best friend was doing. Her mind was telling her to go along. Sean was her best friend and she trusted him.

"Dancing." Sean whispered back, pulling on Abbie's arm lightly.

Abbie smiled a cute little four year old smile, her own twinkle in her eyes. They took one last look at their parents; still shocked by the looks they were giving each other. Abbie put her arms around Sean's neck much like her mother was doing. Sean put his arms around her waist in an imitation of his father.

Abbie and Sean moved back and forth with the music as best as four year olds can. Abbie's Cinderella night gown moved around with her. The small amount of glitter on the sleeves caught Maria Lorenzo's eye; she lifted her head from her husband's shoulder and said, "Look." She pointed to Sean and Abbie, who were now more visible in the hall

Sarah Conlon looked in the same direction also and smiled. She silently crept over to her cluttered desk and grabbed her camera. She couldn't resist the opportunity to capture the precious moment for a future memory. Maria and Sarah were both reluctant to interrupt the two children who had still not noticed their parents.

Sarah was the first to step in and place a gentle hand on Sean's shoulder. "Say good night to Abbie," Sarah said once she and Maria had led them down the hall to the doors of there rooms. Sean pulled out of his mother's firm but gentle grip, ran over to Abbie, and hugged her sweetly. "Good night Abbie," he said, pulling away.

"Good night Sean." Abbie said before going back into her room at the Conlon house. The doors closed silently. Sarah and Maria went back to their husbands and enjoyed their evening.

A/N: OK well that's it. Please leave a review. I have more of these but I might not post them.
