Charlie was sitting on the shore staring into the bliss. Claire saw him from a distance and made herself comfortable beside him.
"whatcha' starin at"
When Charlie heard her voice his heart stoped and suddenly got extreamly nervouse. He had gotten this way whenever she had even looked at him.
"no... nothing claire, you?" stammerd Charlie. "How's little turnip-head doin"
"Fine and stop calling aaron that" claire stated matter-of-factly.
"sorry, I'll stop. I was wondering if you wanted to go for a walk down the beach with me at sunset?" asked charlie rather hopefully.
"Sure, Charlie, only if I can find someone to watch Aaron." answerd Claire "I understand"
"Sun, Sun, are you over here?" Claire called as she entered suns garden.
"Yes, I am over here claire, do you need something?" "Kind of, I need you to wathc Aaron tonight, Charlie wants to go for a walk, Please!" begged claire.
"I gu..." She was cut off. "thank you sun, this means so much to me, she handed Aaron to her and ran off to find Charlie. Leaving sun in her garden with a newborn baby in her arms.
"sawyer, I need a picnic basket." asked charlie in a quiet voice.
"why should I give you one chuckie." stated sawyer in his smart-ass tone "I am going to the other beach away from everybody with claire tonight and I want to make it specail." expalained charlie,
"so, you two gonna go get "caught in a net"?" sawyer had obliviously not gotten the memo from the kate/jack caught in a net.
"what ever that means ok I guess... what does that mean? Any way can you just give me the basket, I'll give you mango's. Charlie taunted and hoped he would actually buy it, but he didn't .
"2 weeks of laundry dutie and then you can have it, and heck, I'll even throw in a blanket, you gotta wash it though, I don't want it back with claire germs. Ugghhh." shutterd sawyer.
"that's mature, but I'll do it"
Sawyer handed him a basket and a blanket.
"thanks dude" and then charlie ran off to the hatch.
Claire had been in the hatch, she knew charlie would go down there. "Hey Jack, I need some..." Charlie had seen claire. "Ointment for my big toe," He finished not knowing what else to say,
"what's wrong with your toe charlie, and jack isn't down here." said claire "nothing. I'll be right back, stay here.
Charlie ran into the pantry and grabbed bread, juice, crackers, and peanut butter. Put it in his basket and went back to clarie.
"Ready?" He asked and went out of the hatch with claire fallowing.
Charlie and Claire went to a perfectly moonlit arean near the beach. And made themselves comfortable. After they ate, Charlie packed up while claire made herself situatted right next to Charlie.
WARNING- I AM NOT VERY GOOD AT LOVE SCENES READ WITH CAUTION.
charlie and claire sat staring at the ocean for about ten minutes until Claire, turned toward Charlie and held his hand. Charlie was overjoyed. "Why don't we head back to camp Charlie." Suggested.
"ok" Charlie knew what was going to happen.
As they reached claires door which was actually Charlies too. Charlie said.
"well, I guess this is it. Did you have a good time?" Charlie asked in a highschool romance tone.
"yes charlie I did, I guess this is my door" she replied in the same tone.
"Claire"
"Yes"
"Can I kiss you goodnight"
"of course you can Charlie Pace." They began there first real kiss. As it ended 4 minutes later. Claire and Charlie headed out to get Aaron. And they both knew, they were in LOVE.
