"Well, I'm not sure how to put this into words..." Mipha began. "I'm actually quite embarrassed to say it." A cool breeze blew around the champions as they stood at the Lanayru Gate. The sun was going down, and they had been there to see if Zelda's sealing powers would awaken. It had bared no fruit.

"But I was thinking about what I do when I'm healing. You know, what usually goes through my mind. It helps me when I think- when I think about-" The ground began shaking violently. Revali jumped into the air.

Good Hylia, bless us all! Revali thought. A huge black cloud of lightning was spiraled around Hyrule Castle. In the center was Calamity Ganon. The calamity surronded the castle like a noose. Calamity Ganon roared. Revali flew back down to the other champions. Zelda gulped.

"It's here," Urbosa said in disbelief. "This is it, then..."

"Are you sure?" Mipha asked.

"Positive."

"It's awake..." Zelda said. "Ganon!"

"Let's stop wasting time." Daruk took over. "We're gonna need everything we got to take that thing down! Now Champions! To your Divine Beasts! Show that swirling swine who's boss!" If it hadn't been a life or death moment, Zelda would've laughed. "Link will need to meet Ganon head on when we attack! This needs to be a unified attack!" They all listened intently to Daruk. "Little Guy! You get to Hyrule Castle! You can count on us for support. But it's up to you to pound Ganon into oblivion!" Link took off toward the Castle, jumping on his Master Cycle. It's all up to you now. He thought. You, and Zelda.

Urbosa walked over to speechless Zelda. "Come. We should go. We need to get you someplace safe."

"No!" Zelda was angry. At herself, at Link, at her father. "I am not a child anymore! I may not be much use on the battlefield... but there must... there must be something I can do to help!"

Calamity spiraled over the castle. The five stared at it for a moment. Then, Revali took off. Mipha took to the water. Urbosa and Daruk went their separate ways. Zelda saddled up her horse. They were all going toward Ganon. Toward fate.

Toward death.
