Okay so... This isnt really what im used to writing so bare with me. This is a One- Shot based on the song Forever and Always by Parachute. You should listen to the song its really good. WARNING!: This may or may not make you cry. I dont own MR JP does.
Max looked down at her phone, the time read 5:20 p.m. Fang had told earlier that day that he'd be at her house at 5:30 p.m. She stayed sitting at the table for the next 10 minutes until its 5:30. She began to pace. 'He was supposed to be here' she thought. She's sure he would have called.
She waits a little longer, there's no one in the driveway. Max called Fang's sister, Nudge. She said she hadn't seen him, nor has Iggy, his best friend. "Why, is something wrong?" She asks herself. she walks to the window when suddenly the phone rings. The voice on the other end says, "Is this Maximum Walker?" "Yes! Why? Who is this?" There was a slight pause. "I'm sorry but... Something has happened please come quick.
Max races out the door to her car and starts the dreadful drive. While she's driving her mind goes to December. She thinks of when he asked her. He bent down on his knee and said, "I want you forever, forever and always.Through the good and the bad and the ugly. We'll grow old together. Forever and always." Of course she had say yes. They had both cried that day, something they rarely did.
Max pulls up to the entrance and walks straight to the front desk. The nurse took her down a million halls, a maze that was never ending. They begin to talk about what had happened. "He was shot in the abdomen, the bullet passed through crucial organs. I don't know how he is still alive." But Max had barley heard them.
She walked into the room, trying to keep a straight face, but when she entered the room she broke down. Fang laid there on the hospital bed. His olive skin now lighter then it normally was. His eyes had lost some of their usual spark. A look of permanent pain painted on his face.
When Fang noticed Max standing in the door way with tears in her eyes and her body shaking with silent sobs he gave her his signature smirk that looked more like a grimace. Max rushed to his side and started to shake violently with sobs and her ears pooled on the ground by her feet. She was holding his hand so tight it began to turn a shade of blue, but Fang didn't mind, Max was here with him. He hadn't realized it but he too was crying.
Max's head had been laid on his chest when it suddenly shot up. She gave him a week smile and went to whisper something to a nurse. The nurse gave Max a sad smile and nodded. Max went to the room next door and borrowed a couples pair of rings. When she got back the nurse had Champlain. She says a few verses. Everyone's laughing as tears land on the floor.
She looks into Fang's eyes and says, " I want you forever, forever and always.Through the good and the bad and the 'll grow old together, and always remember whether happy or sad or whatever we'll still love each other,'' her voice crack in the middle of her sentence but she didn't care."forever and always."
She finishes the vows but the beeps are getting too voice is almost too low as he says, "I love you forever... forever and always...Please... just remember even if I'm not there...I'll always love you... forever and always.
The beeping stops completely.
Maximum Walker was now Maximum Ride, and she stayed Maximum Ride until she died.
