Don't Be Afraid To Try
A/N I had the idea for this a few minutes ago. It's about learning to be confident and strong inside even though you feel scared inside. I hope people like.
Amore was sad as she entered Duloc.
She'd been sent away from her kingdom by the rulers because of what she was inside even though she looked like a human.
Her long chestnut hair blew around her face hiding the sadness inside her.
She had a good heart even though she was different from others.
"Maybe I can make an new start here in this village and nobody will know me." she thought walking to a vacant hut.
But somebody else had entered the village, an ogre teen around sixteen years old with snow white fur, green eyes, slender as he adjusted the backpack on his furry back.
He wore a black baker boy cap, white shirt, black jeans and an Naruto shirt.
His name was Snowgre and his parents had sent him away because he had recently been diagnosed with a rare syndrome called BBS which affected his sight along with other things but he had been forced to go to Duloc and live with his cousin Shrek.
His furry trumpet shaped ears drooped sadly thinking about being different.
But seeing Amore walk around made him curious especially when she didn't run away from him.
"H-Hi I'm Amore.
I'm new here." she said shaking his blue skinned hand.
"Wow you've got quite a grip Amore, I'm Snowgre.
I just moved here too." he said to her confused by the non disgust in her eyes looking at him.
"Why're you not freaking out like others do around guys like me?" he asked her.
"B-Because I know how it feels to be hated because you're different.
People are always mean to me because I'm different too." she answered him as he realised he should be getting to his cousin's swamp.
"I'll see you later, okay?" he said walking off slowly.
Thoughts were running through his mind as he made his way to Shrek's swamp. He wondered why his cousin even wanted him to be part of his family but knew it wouldn't work.
"Besides once he finds out I'm half blind, he'll reject me like my parents and my little brother." Snowgre thought as he arrived at the swamp. He then knocked on the door as Artie answered it.
"Hey there you must be Snowgre.
Shrek and the others have been expecting you for a while since this morning." he said as there was a look of worry on Snowgre's light blue skinned face as he entered the house.....
