Stupid Love

He was watching her intensely as she walked up the stairs. Her swelled belly gave away the amount of time he had been gone. He slowly looked up, and he could see the sadness in her eyes. They locked their eyes, and it made her touch her belly in a protective way. This place, their home contained their best moments of their lives together, but also the not so good ones. He missed her so much, and wished he could speak to her; tell her that he will always be around her to protect her, and the baby. However, it was too late How could he do it? It was either her or him, and he was happy that it ended up being her.

"Are you sure about this, Love?" Klaus walked out of their bathroom wearing a towel low on his hips. He stood leaning in the doorway, looking at his gorgeous wife. "Yes, Nik. You know Bekah would kill us if we weren't there to see the new member of our family. And I can't wait to see the little princess!" She finished packing one of the suitcases, and started packing his suitcase. "Well we still have some time left, right?" Klaus got Caroline's attention, and slowly walked seductively towards her. "Don't you dare Niklaus Mikaelson! I know what you're up to!" Caroline turned her back to him to run away, but he caught her around her hips. He pulled her flush against him, so that her back was pressed against his front. He leaned down pushing her hair to one side and whispered: "Come on love, it's the last day of our honeymoon, let's enjoy it!" Klaus trailed small feather kisses down her neck, and then up again.
