A silver egg in the ocean shined in the light. Muda Kingdom was always brimming with life. Its waters moved quietly. A dark blue Torion fish with long fins swam around the small egg, whispering to it.

"You'll swim faster than everyone else..." the Torion said.

The Torion circled the egg quietly and cheered to itself. The egg moved a bit, before making a sound.

"It must be time."

The egg moved once again and started to crack. Slowly the eggshell fell apart in the water. A slimy Torion baby squirmed its way onto the ground. Its fins were extended as well as its mother's. The mother thought to herself at this moment. Trying to decide what to do next.

"And where could Neo be?"

Aris the Torion mother looked to her new-born. He looked healthy as he swam around the cove.

There was a moment then that Aris sensed the movement of another fish. Another Torion swiftly swam to Aris, holding a mouthful of Goombo meat. This was Neo, Aris' first child.

"This Goombo must've fallen into the water without thinking!" Neo smiled as he gave the food to Aris.

"Good, we need more food."

Aris gave some of the food to the baby Torion.

"Your name... I'll name you Noil" Aris said as she handed the bits of Goombo meat to her son.

Noil grinned as he tore apart the meat greedily. Torions were naturally carnivorous fish. They ate whatever they could to survive. But some were unfortunate enough to be eaten, they then turn into Honens...

A week later Aris was sleeping with Noil curled up in the sand. Neo had already gone off once again to find more food. So there was not much to do at the moment.

"Hmm..?"

Noil stretched his fins and looked around, everything was still new to him. He wanted to explore the area. He got up from the sand and started to swim away, his long fins dragging behind him. There was so much to see.

Noil gained speed as he swam, he picked up dust behind him as he got faster. There was a brush of heat against him. He stopped and looked around.

"Hey, you're interupting me!"

Noil looked down to see the fiery eyes of a Yurarin Boo. His orange scales glimmered as he snorted out smoke.

"What?"

"Don't act like that, I was practicing my Fire abilities, and you interupted me!"

The Yurarin Boo had an angry look on his face, although he still seemed to be harmless to Noil.

"I'm sorry, I was trying to swim fast!" said Noil.

"What were you doing, swimming away from predators? Aren't you the predator?"

Noil shook his head and swam closer.

"No, I just wanna swim as fast as I can!"

It was now that the Yurarin Boo could see the extra long fins on the Torion.

"Wow, aren't Torions supposed to have short fins?"

Noil looked to the side at his fins and laughed.

"Well, yeah but my mom has fins like this so I guess thats why I have them too."

The Yurarin Boo laughed as well and swam beside Noil.

"I'm Rando by the way."

"Oh, I'm Noil!"

The two talked for a while until the water lights got dim. Then Noil scurried away to get back home. He was eager to tell his mom about the new friend that he had made.

When he arrived his mother wrapped her fins around him lovingly.

"Noil don't worry me like that!" his mom said.

But Aris knew that her son couldn't have gotten into too much trouble.

"I met a new friend, he's a Yurarin, that shoots fire!"

Aris made a strange look and then turned to the side.

"Neo hasn't gotten home yet, what's taking him so long?"

Noil looked in the same direction. There was a bony figure that emerged. It was Neo. He gave a sullen expression as his eyes sunk forward to meet Aris'.

"Neo! What happened?" said Aris.

Neo was now only bones. He slumped into the sand and dropped the Goombo meat.

"I was fighting with some other fish... I'm now a Honen I guess."

Aris was shocked, but it was not uncommon for fish to get eaten like this. Luckily Torions can still live as skeletons...
