Morning like all others
Disclaimer: The disclaimer that tells you all that I don't own X Men Evolution, Days Of our Lives, or anything else real familiar is too busy reading fanfiction to show it's evil face! Just some random funness about a morning at Xavier's.
It was a normal day at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Students- a phrase here meaning there was a severe threat of several fire alarms going off.
"Ah thank he's a wonderful man and Ah don't care what ya'll say- I'm gonna support him!" Rogue nearly spat in Jean' face.
"Wow, Chere, Remy didn't tink y' cared so much 'bout 'im." Remy gave a low whistle.
"Ah wasn't talking' bout y', Swamp Rat!"
" GOD, Gambit! We were TALKING about Shawn from Days of our Lives! That JERK! How can he blatantly disrespect his parents like that!" Jean scoffed.
"Because he LOVES Belle, Jean! True love lahke that don't happen everyday…" Rogue got a dreamy look on her face.
" I swear to GOD, Bobby! If you freeze my underwear drawer ONE MORE FRIGGIN TIME I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Scott came down the main stairs with some frozen fruit of the looms.
"Me! Why is it always ME who gets blamed for every single prank !" Bobby was trying not to laugh as Scott slipped on a small, well-placed patch of ice at the foot of the stairs.
"THAT'S IT!" Scott's face matched his shades as he clenched his fists. "YOU'RE DEAD!" Bobby gave an audible yelp as he ran from the pursuing Cyclops, who tripped over Evan's skateboard.
"…No, you hang up Lance! I'M not gonna hang up, YOU hang up…" Kitty cooed into the phone, twisting the cord with her middle and index fingers. Kurt was walking next to her, tapping his three-toed foot in agitation.
"KITTY! You've been on the phone for TWENTY MINUTES! I need to call Amanda!" He threw up his hands.
"Just a second, Kurt. I'm just, like, saying goodbye…" She rolled her eyes. " Lance, I am NOT hanging up first! I love you too, but YOU hang up first…"
"Urgh! I vill hang up first!" Kurt grabbed the phone from Kitty and pushed the 'end' button.
"KU-URT!" She shrieked, making his fur stand on end. "Now I have to call him and tell him that I didn't hang up on him!" She grabbed the phone, stuck out her tongue, and phased through the floor.
"Children, I must insist that you depart for school! You will all be late if you do not leave soon!" Ororo held the door open from the inside and held onto her skirt as the junior X-Men and New Mutants ran out. "Phew!" She held a hand to her heart.
"Are they all gone, Storm?" Charles Xavier wheeled out of the safety of his study.
"I think so." Ororo looked down the hall with caution. " Yes, they're gone."
"Someone should probably clean all of this up." Logan cringed as he picked up the scent of Scott's thawing briefs.
"I agree." Charles nodded. "So, poker in the library all?"
"You've read my mind, Professor." Hank smiled as all the teachers retreated towards the library.
