'Thought'
~Mindspeaking~
Perenelle Flamel allowed herself a smirk of satisfaction at having driven off the sphinx, at least for the time being, and turned to the cell nearest to her, which housed a creature she had never before seen the likes of.
It was about 5 feet tall, resembling a jackal, and it was definitely bipedal. Most of its body was covered in blue fur, such as its head, arms, wider upper legs, and tail (which was shaped like an upside down checkmark), while its torso was covered by cream colored fur. Its paws and lower legs were black. It had a natural stripe of black around its head, which encompassed its orangey-crimson eyes, and another from its snout, between the eyes, between the ears, and merging with the other stripe at the back of its head. Four elongated-teardrop-shaped lobes, also black, hung from the back of its head. Lastly, it had a white spike in the middle of its chest, and another on the back of each paw.
It stirred, pushing itself up into a kneeling position. Holding out a paw in front of itself, it seemed to focus, and suddenly, a wisp of many shades of blue and purple was dancing in its palm. Perenelle gasped despite herself.
'Its manipulating its aura!' she thought, shocked.
Suddenly, it turned to her, and she swore she saw a smile on its face.
~Is it really so surprising to you that the Aura is with me?~ Holding out its paw once more, with the palm towards her, it closed its eyes, and the lobes on the back of its head rose. ~You have a strong aura~ it commented to her, opening its eyes. Then, getting up and settling into a crouch facing the bars of the cell, it put its paws together and drew them back, a ball of aura pulsing between them. Thrusting them out, the sphere of aura collided with the bars, and when the dust cleared, there was a large hole.
Stepping out of the cell, the creature glanced around and turned to leave.
"Who are you?" Perenelle asked.
~I am Lucario. The Aura is with me ~
With that, Lucario sprinted down the corridor and turned the corner. Perenelle followed, and it took her only moments to reach where Lucario had turned, but by then, the creature of aura had disappeared. She never saw it again.
