Zoe had called everyone in a meeting to talk to them about their new cleaner Bobby. Everyone smiled at the thought of a new cleaner expect from Linda who could feel something bad coming from this. Jessica looked at Linda but decided just to leave her alone. The new cleaner arrived and it was Linda's worse nightmare. She was standing in front of the boy who bullied her when she was at school.
"His fit", Jessica whispered.
"No he isn't", Linda replied and stormed off.
"What's wrong with Linda", Zoe asked.
"Don't know", Jessica replied.
For a while Jessica wondered if she should talk to Linda or not, her head was telling her not to while her heart was telling her to go talk to Linda. Jessica listened to her head and went over to talk to Bobby and become more friendly with him. An emergency came in so Jessica went into resus to help out leaving Bobby with Noel and Louise.
"Do you like comedy", Noel asked.
"No", Bobby replied.
Louise just looked at Noel as Bobby walked off and Bobby looked confused. Big Mac walked over and Louise just looked at him and then got on with the paper work while Big Mac tried to cheer Noel up. Big Mac and Noel both started giggling and Louise just shock her head.
"Boys", Louise said.
Linda was working on a young girl called Poppy who had fallen off her bike. Jessica went to talk to Linda but she could see how busy she was so decided that it could wait. Jessica looked confused as Zoe walked past.
"You ok", Zoe asked.
"Yeah, sorry just worried about a friend", Jessica replied.
"Which one", Zoe asked.
"Linda", Jessica replied.
"Is she alright", Zoe asked.
"Well you know the new cleaner Bobby, when I told her I think his fit, she said no his not and stormed off, it's Linda we are talking about since when has she said a bloke isn't fit", Jessica said.
"Maybe she saw sense", Zoe joked.
Jessica walked off as Zoe wasn't being much help. Jessica saw Linda up with her. Linda was being more quieter than usual. Jessica took Linda to the corner of the staffroom and asked her a question.
"Are you ok", Jessica asked.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be", Linda asked.
"No reason", Jessica replied.
Jessica could sense that Linda was hiding something as they have been friends since college. Jessica watched Linda walk off. Linda walked outside and sat by the water fountain and redone her make up just as Bobby came outside and joined her. Linda heart started beating really fast as she now definitely knew he was Bobby Blackball the boy who bullied her in school.
"Linda isn't it", Bobby asked.
"Yeah", Linda replied.
"Your from Liverpool, so am I", Bobby said.
Linda smiled as he looked down at her name badge, he recognised that name any day. Linda tried to move away but Bobby grabbed her arm.
"Let go", Linda said.
"Jammy", Bobby said.
Bobby pushed Linda and she went inside crying, she passed Jessica who followed her into the girls toilets. Jessica entered the toilets and knocked on the door Linda was in.
"Linda", Jessica said.
"Leave me alone", Linda replied though her tears.
Jessica stood by the sink blinking away the tears that were forming just by hearing her best friend cry. Linda eventually decided to come out and walked over to Jessica and cried on her. Jessica hugged Linda back and comforted her. As Linda let go to wipe away the tears, Jessica noticed that Linda's head was bleeding.
"Linda what happened", Jessica asked looking at it.
Linda kept quiet, Jessica guided Linda to a cubicle and called Zoe in to take a look at her head. Linda still wouldn't say how she got it. Zoe and Jessica left Linda as they went to take some notes. Zoe looked at the cubicle and then at Jessica.
"Jess, is Linda alright", Zoe asked.
"I don't know", Jessica replied.
