To Harvey it felt as though this meeting had been going on since time had begun, the man sitting across from him was starting to really get on his nerves. It was everything from the way that his voice sounded, even down to the way that his tie seemed to be too far left. He couldn't wait to just be free from this idiot and get on with the rest of his day, however the man (john? Derek? Eh he didn't care that much) just wouldn't shut up and leave.
''Mr Spector as I am trying to remind you, my company cannot afford to wait any longer before making a settlement offer, what if they bring the price up more!''
Now Harvey really wanted to cry. ''as I have said to you, the best thing to do in these situations is to just remain calm and allow for me and this other guys lawyer to just talk it out.'' Hopefully this would get this guy to shut the hell up… he might have to just pass this guy to Louis. Why can't he ever just get the easy clients who just do as he says?
Finally the guy (it could have been Bob? Barry?) Seemed to just relent and finally shut up, maybe he could weasel his way out of this room now. He really could do with a scotch.
''Okay then Mr Spector, do what you must, but if this isn't sorted by the end of the week, then trust me. I will find a new lawyer.'' The guy seemed to be shaking; Harvey couldn't tell if it was with anger or pure fright, this guy looked like the time of man who wouldn't say boo to a ghost. But yet here he was, trying to stand up to New Yorks best closure.
''listen, when I say that we should wait, then we should wait. But if you want to threaten me, then take your business elsewhere. Because I know how to do my job, and right now, if you don't listen to me then you will be throwing $100,000 to waste. So I am done here, if you want to continue with this plan, then arrange with my secretary another meeting next week and I will explain to you what I can do.''
Having put Paul? Perhaps, In his place, Harvey walked out of the conference room and back towards his office. He wouldn't get away that easy however, because it was at that moment that Louis chose to speak to him.

''oh sorry Louis, was you trying to get my attention.'' hitting him with that famous Spector smirk, Harvey hoped this could be a quick conversation; after all he did have plans tonight. '' what is it now?''
'' I need to borrow your associate, I have a huge case that goes to court, in a week and need all hands on deck to help me prepare for it. And I am not having any of this, she is my associate crap, this order has comes from Jessica. She understands that at least some people within this company work hard.''
''well if you got the approval from Jessica why bother wasting my time with this talk? You can having her for a day, Rachel has a case of mine that she need to work on, and you can go and cry to Jessica about how I am not helping, but you never did specify just how long you would need her for.'' Once again whipping out this smirk, Harvey strutted away, knowing that he won that argument.
Getting to his office, he noticed that Donna was not at her Desk, not totally strange, however there was a sign on top of his desk that read ''EMERGANCY CAME UP, HAD TO RUN. BE BACK SOON XOXO DONNA.'' What was strange that she normally text him whenever she had to run out, so maybe something was majorly wrong.
He moved the note to one side and decided that if it was something that was super important then she would text or ring him. He opened up his laptop and got one with some work. The next few hours moved slowly for Harvey, he usually had Rachel to talk to, or was working on some big case. And with Donna also MIA then he didn't really have much to do. Reading emails and sending them out, all seemed to mundane and boring to do. So Harvey decided to shut his laptop, have a quick drink, and to just head home early.
The moment that he stood up however, and went to pour a tumbler of his finest whiskey, all he heard was ''DADDY!''
He turned around just at that moment that his 3 year old son jumped at him, reacting on instinct alone Harvey just caught him.
