I wanted to use this song for some time on a story so I choose this one. The song it's called What Went Wrong? By Blink 182. This is Liz talking about Max and the stuff they did after the end of the first season. Not everything in this song relates to activities they did but the whole song makes total sense to what she was feeling. I do not own the characters of Roswell or did not write this song. Blink 182 wrote it but I changed a few words in it to suit the story.

I'm sick of always hearing

All the sad songs on the radio

All day it is there to remind

An over-sensitive girl that she's lost and alone, yeah

Liz sat in her room and listen carefully to the lyrics coming out of her stereo. She had just bought Take Off Your Pants and Jacket by Blink 182 and the secret song came on. It reminded her so much about Max and what happened. She felt so mad..

I hate our favourite restaurant, our favourite movie, our favourite show,

We would stay up all through the night

We would laugh and get high, and never answer the phone

I can't forgive, can't forget

Can't give in, what went wrong

Cause you said this was right

You fucked up my life

Liz felt so mad about Max having other destiny with someone else. Even worse was that person was Tess. She didn't care what everyone said, she knew deep down it wasn't Max's fault but she still felt so mad and depressed.

I'm sick of always hearing

Sappy love songs on the radio

This place, it's fucking cursed and it's plagued

And I can never escape when my heart it explodes

I can't forgive, can't forget

Can't give in, what went wrong

Cause you said this was right

You fucked up my life

Liz stood up from her bed and looked outside her window. The song had connected to her and she felt better. She knew she needed to get away from everything and everyone. She went to her closet and grabbed a suitcase and filled it with whatever she could use and grabbed the money she had been hiding from her parents from the past seven years. It was money she saved from paycheck, Christmas money and birthday money. She hid it in her closet under a loose floorboard hidden in a old sock. She counted it and had saved almost $3,000 in bills of $20 to one hundreds and stuffed it into her pocket. She opened the window and let the last part of the song finish.

I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me

What went wrong

I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me

What went wrong

I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me

What went wrong

I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me

What went wrong

I'm kicking

Liz climbed down the ladder and picked up the suitcase she's thrown down and started to head out of Roswell. Once she was out of here thing's would start to look up.
