"Uh... not again..." I think before my vision blacks out and my body fall to the ground like a empty sock puppet in the middle of the school's hall. I feel myself floating. The area around me is pitch black, except for a girl with brown hair and brown eyes in a bright lime green sweater floating to my left.
"Dipping Dots!" Mabel calls as she 'swims' over to me. I just glance at her and sigh.
"I should have known today was going too was going too well. I got an A in that English quiz." I groan quietly.
"Well come o- oh! oh! It's starting!" Mabel yells right into my ears. I rub my temples gently as the world around us fills with color. Well, at least about four fifths of it. I see part and Mabel the other. The random blots of color slowly take form onto a scene. These visions are never really spelled out for you and kind of hard to decode, so you kind of have to make a story with what you see.
Though it's still a little blurry, I see two boys. They both have light brown hair. One is very short and slightly chubby, probably 6 or 7 years old. The other is decently tall and... a little too skinny. like, worryingly skinny. he was probably around 13. But other than that, nothing was wrong. They were just hanging out in a yard. Suddenly the vision changes.
This time it went to a scene with darker tones and just showed a boy with black hair in a red hoodie talking to himself. The only weird things is that the boy' hair stands straight up, and he is having a full conversation with himself, with pauses and everything. odd, not scary, I decided. He was also around 13, though probably 12 or 11.
Nothing really notable in either vision, except for an unexplainable feeling of dread and fear. Everything faded back to black. I glance over at Mabel to see her curled into a ball with tears glistening in the air around her. She glanced up. With the visions, I see more, and Mabel feels more. Kind of like an empath.
Now, though, she looks up at me and starts to unfurl herself. I float over and lay a hand on her shoulder. I feel myself starting to wake up.
"Tell me when we get home." I say as the vision completely fades out.
